국문 초록

이 연구는 경기도 화성시에 거주하는 지체ㆍ뇌병변 장애인을 대상으로 장애인콜택시 이용 행태를 분석하고, 자율주행차량 특별교통수단 서비스의 이용 가능성을 조사하였다. 차량이 운전자의 개입 없이 환경을 인식하고 제어하는 자율주행차량은 교통사고 감소, 교통체증 완화 등 많은 장점을 기대 할 수 있다. 설문조사를 통해 총 354명의 응답을 분석한 결과, 대다수의 이용자는 오전 시간대에 주로 서비스를 이용하며, 월평균 이용횟수가 ‘9회∼15회’(40.7%)로 가장 높았다. 또한 응답자의 82.5%가 자율주행차량 특별교통수단을 이용할 것이라 응답하였으나, 안전성에 대한 우려가 주요 저 해요소로 작용하였다. 오퍼레이터의 탑승 여부가 긍정적인 반응을 이끌어내며, 이는 장애인콜택시와 자율주행차량 간의 서비스 연결 가능성을 제시한다. 이 연구의 결과는 리빙랩 단계에서 이동지원 서비스 제공을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 것이며, 향후 자율주행차량의 Virtual Stop 지점 선정 시 휠체어 이용 장애인의 이동 환경을 고려할 필요성이 있음을 제언한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the usage behavior of disabled call taxis among individuals with physical and brain lesion disorders residing in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and investigates the potential utilization of autonomous vehicle special transportation services. Autonomous vehicles, which can perceive and control their environment without human intervention, are expected to provide numerous benefits, such as reducing traffic accidents and alleviating congestion. The analysis of responses from a total of 354 participants revealed that the majority of users primarily utilize the service during the morning hours, with the highest average monthly usage frequency reported as '9 to 15 times' (40.7%). Furthermore, 82.5% of respondents expressed their willingness to use autonomous vehicle special transportation services; however, concerns about safety emerged as a significant barrier to use. The presence of an operator generated a positive response, suggesting the potential for service integration between disabled call taxis and autonomous vehicles. The findings of this study will serve as a foundational resource for providing mobility support services during the living lab phase and highlight the necessity to consider the mobility environment of wheelchair users when selecting Virtual Stop locations for autonomous vehicles in the future.
