국문 초록

본 예비연구는 문헌고찰 및 전문가 대상 의견조사를 통해 고령운전자의 운전 적합성 평가를 위한 실차평가 항목을 개발하고자 하였다. Pubmed, CINAHL, Embase 데이터베이스에서 driving, older drivers, on-road test, assessment, measurement 등의 검색어를 사용하여 고령운전자의 운전 적합성 평가 및 실차평가 관련 문헌들을 살펴보고 평가도구들을 검토하였다. 도출된 평가도구들의 세부항 목을 나열하여 고령운전자 운전 주요 구성요소를 바탕으로 정리하였으며, 정리된 평가항목들이 국 내 기능ㆍ도로주행시험 채점 기준에 적합한지 검토하였다. 개발된 평가항목 초안은 전문가 집단을 대상으로 의견조사를 실시하였다. 운전재활전문가인 작업치료사를 대상으로 1차 의견조사를 실시하 고, 운전면허시험장 운전면허시험관을 대상으로 2차 의견조사를 실시하여 실차평가 항목에 대한 의 견을 수렴하였다. 최종적으로 도출된 실차평가 항목은 총 34개였다. 본 연구는 고령운전자 운전 주 요 구성 요소를 바탕으로 고령운전자의 안전운전 지원을 위한 실차평가 항목을 개발하였음에 의의 가 있다. 이후 연구에서는 신뢰도 및 타당도가 검증된다면 보다 완성도 높은 실차평가 항목이 개발 될 것이다. 본 연구 결과가 고령운전자의 운전 적합성을 결정하기 위한 기초자료가 되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

This preliminary study aimed to develop on-road test items for evaluating the fitness-to-drive of older drivers through a literature review and expert opinion survey. Literature on fitness-to-drive evaluation and on-road tests for older drivers was reviewed, and assessment tools were examined using search terms such as “driving,” “older drivers,” “on-road test,” “assessment,” and “measurement” in the PubMed, CINAHL, and Embase databases. The detailed items from the identified assessment tools were listed and organized based on the key components of older drivers' driving abilities. Additionally, these evaluation items were reviewed to determine their suitability with the scoring criteria of the domestic functional and on-road driving tests. The draft assessment items were then subjected to an opinion survey involving occupational therapists, driving rehabilitation specialists, and driving examiners at a driver's license examination center. A total of 34 on-road test items were finalized. This study is significant for developing on-road test items that support the safe driving of older drivers based on key components of their driving abilities. Future studies are expected to produce a more refined set of on-road test items, provided their reliability and validity are verified. It is hoped that the results of this study will serve as foundational data for determining the fitness-to-drive of older drivers.
