간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념의 확립은 간호의 미래를 결정하는 중요한 부분으로 간호교육에 필수적이다. 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 전문직 자아개념의 영향요인을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구의 대상자는 간호학과 3~4학년 257명이며, 구조화된 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였고 전문직 자아개념에 영향을 미치는 요인은 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념은 임상실습 스트레스(r=-.295, p<.001)와 음의 상관관계가 있었고, 임상수행능력(r=.584, p<.001)과 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 전문직 자아개념에 대한 영향요인은 임상수행능력(β=.316, p<.001), 전공 만족도(β=.394, p<.001), 실습동료와 관계 만족도(β=.141, p=.003), 임상실습 만족도(β=.131, p=.035)로 55.8%를 예측하였다(F=50.594, p<.001). 간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념을 향상시키기 위해서는 임상수행능력을 강화시키고 전공 만족도, 실습동료와 관계 만족도, 임상실습 만족도를 향상시키는 교육적 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The promotion of professional self-conception among nursing students is an important part determining the future of nursing and is essential for nursing education. This study was conducted to identify factors affecting nursing students' professional self-concept. The subjects of the study were 257 3rd and 4th year nursing students. Data were collected through a structured survey, and factors affecting the professional self-concept were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. As a result of the study, nursing students' professional self-concept had a negative correlation with clinical practice stress(r=-.295, p<.001) and a positive correlation with clinical competency(r=.584, p<.001). The significant factors influencing professional self-concept were clinical competency(β=.316, p<.001), satisfaction with major(β=.394, p<.001), satisfaction with relationships with practice colleagues(β=.141, p= .003), and satisfaction with clinical practice(β=.131, p=.035), which explained 55.8% of the variance(F=50.594, p<.001). In order to improve the professional self-concept of nursing students, it is necessary to develop educational strategies to improve clinical competency, satisfaction with major, satisfaction with relationships with practice colleagues, and satisfaction with clinical practice.
