국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 한국 언어문화 리터러시에 나타난 북한이탈대학생의 경험의 의미를 탐구하는 것이다. 이를 위한 연구문제는 첫째, 북한이탈대학생의 한국 언어문화에 대한 리터러시는 어떠한가? 둘째, 한국 언어문화 리터러시에 나타난 경험의 의미는 무엇인가? 이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 우선 북한이탈대학생의 현황과 적응 과정의 어려움을 선행연구를 통해 파악하고, 언어문화와 리터러시의 개념을 고찰하였다. 이어 북한이탈대학생들의 한국 언어문화 리터러시에 나타난 경험을 비판적 이해, 소통적 참여, 성찰적 실천의 관점으로 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 비판적 이해의 관점에서 ‘같은 언어, 다른 언어문화’, 소통적 참여의 관점에서 ‘소통의 장벽이 되는 이중언어문화’, 성찰적 실천의 관점에서 ‘사회 구성원으로서 인정받기 위한 노력’이라는 주제를 도출하였다. 연구 결과를 통해, 시민교육의 차원에서 다수 한국 대학생들에게 북한의 언어문화적 배경을 이해할 수 있는 상호언어문화 이해교육을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of this research is to explore the significance of Korean language and culture literacy that North Korean defector students experience. The first research question of this study is “How is North Korean defector students’ literacy to the Korean Language Culture?”, and the second is “What is the significance of the literacy of Korean language and culture performed by North Korean defector students?”. In solving these research question, previous studies was examined. Through the exam we acknowledge the better grasp the North Korean defector students’ current situation and their difficulties that they face in their assimilation process. The other hand, we reviewed the concept of the literacy of Korean language and culture. By analyzing the significance of the North Korean defector student’s Korean language and culture literacy, this study give an indication to the possibility of understanding mutual language culture and the perspective of educating citizens, that enables the for many Korean university students to understand North Korean language and cultural background.
