제주발명축제의 운영 동향 및 가치

국문 초록

이 연구는 제주발명축제의 운영 동향을 분석하고, 가치를 고찰하기 위해 수행된 것으로 문헌연구 방법을 사용하였다. 제주발명축제는 제주학생발명교육연구회 주관으로 2013년 처음 추진되었으며, 2015년까지 제3회를 맞이하고 있다. 프로그램의 양적, 질적 변화를 겪으며 발전을 거듭하였다. 제주발명축제는 11월 첫째 주 토요일과 일요일에 개최되었으며 서귀포시에서 학생, 학부모, 지역 주민이 참여하는 축제로 진행되었다. 체험 프로그램 구성은 관람객의 수요와 호응을 미리 예측하여 관람인원이 많을 것으로 생각되는 프로그램은 체험권을 지급하는 프로그램으로, 관람객이 다소 적거나 많은 관람객을 수용할 수 있는 프로그램은 체험권을 지급하지 않는 프로그램으로 이원화되어 있다. 제주발명축제는 참여자들에게 정보 수집 능력, 창의력, 문제해결 능력, 의사결정 능력, 의사소통 능력 등 핵심적인 역량을 신장시키며, 성취감, 자신감, 자기 효능감을 배양시키기에 유용한 주제나 내용을 가지고 있었다. 또한 제주발명축제는 학교에서 경험하고 실천하기 힘든 주제들을 한 번에 효율적으로 경험할 수 있어 제주 발명교육의 내실화에 기여하고 있으며, 가족 단위의 방문객이 상당하여 학생뿐만 아니라 일반인들에게 까지 발명과 관련된 주제나 내용을 노출시킬 수 있는 역할도 하고 있어, 발명교육의 저변 확대 및 활성화에 기여하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze operating trends of Jeju Invention Festival and to set up values of it. This study was carried out by literature review. Jeju Invention Festival was first promoted in 2013 to Jeju Invention Education Research Council. 2015 was currently 3rd. A lot of students, parents and local residents have participated at the festivals. Popularity of the direct experience programs was high among students and parents. Festival is composed of two types of experience program. Dual configuration is a program that does not pay a ticket and experience program paid experience ticket. Values of Jeju festival invention are as follows; Learners can develop the core competencies through the Jeju Invention Festival. It also enriches the culture emotional core. Jeju Invention Festival has contributed to the substantiality of the invention contribute to the education and training base expansion and activation of the invention. Some suggestions for afterward research were made such as; Invention, it is necessary to in-depth analysis of invention information, the appropriate elements in the festival. Because contents of this analysis experience program, it is necessary to think about whether you want to continue to transform the content or format of experiential programs.
