국문 초록

동성 간 결합에 머물러 있는 이들에 관한 ‘사목적 축복’의 가능성은 교황청 신앙교리성의 ｢성 윤리상의 특정 문제에 관한 선언｣(1975.12.29.)에서부터 교황청 신앙교리부의 축복의 사목적 의미에 관한 선언 ｢간청하는 믿음｣(2023.12.18.)까지의 교회 문헌들의 연속성 안에서 확인할 수 있다. 사람은 아무리 큰 죄 중에 머물러 있다 하더라도, 우리의 “아버지이시고 어머니이시며, 순수한 사랑이신” 하느님께는 죄 보다 더 중요하다. 하느님께서는 생명을 구분하지 않으시고 모두에게 강복하시어, 죄 중에 머물러 있는 이들이 당신을 향해 돌아설 수 있도록 초대하신다. 하느님으로부터 강복 받은 이들은 서로에게 축복을 줄 힘을 얻게 된다. 이러한 이유로 성직자의 ‘사목적 축복’은 ‘전례적 축복’을 향한 디딤돌이 될 수 있다. 축복은 “삶의 모든 사건에서 하느님의 현존을 깨닫도록 이끌고, 인간이 창조된 물건을 사용할 때도 하느님을 찾고 사랑하며 충실히 섬기도록 초대받았음을 상기시켜 준다.” 그러므로 이러한 축복의 문이 자주 열릴수록 하느님과의 친교의 기회가 많아질 것이라 희망해 본다.

영문 초록

The possibility of “pastoral blessings” for those who remain in unions of persons of the same-sex can be seen in the continuity of Church documents from the Declaration on certain questions concerning sexual ethics - Persona humana(29 December 1975) to the Declaration Fiducia Supplicans On the Pastoral Meaning of Blessings(18 December 2023)of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. No matter how great a person may remain in sin, he/she is more important to God than all the sin, who is our “Father, Mother, and pure love.” God does not distinguish between life, but blesses to all, inviting those who remain in sin to turn toward Him. Those who are empowered by God are empowered to bless one another. For this reason, a “pastoral blessing” from a cleric can be a stepping stone toward a “liturgical blessing”. Blessings “lead us to grasp God’s presence in all the events of life and remind us that, even in the use of created things, human beings are invited to seek God, to love him, and to serve him faithfully.” Therefore, they hope that opening these doors of blessing more often will create more opportunities for communion with God.
