국문 초록

본 연구는 중학생의 창의성과 진로성숙도가 시간이 경과함에 따라 어떻게 변화하는지, 두 변인의 상호인과관계는 어떠한지를 종단적으로 분석하고 이러한 관계가 성별에 따라 차이가 있는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국교육종단연구 2013 (KELS 2013)의 3~5차 조사(중1~3) 패널자료를 사용하였고, 연구 대상은 남학생 3,006명과 여학생 3,143명으로 총 6,149명이었다. 연구모형의 검증에 자기회귀교차지연모형과 다집단분석을 적용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창의성과 진로성숙도는 시간의 경과에 따라 안정적인 자기회귀효과를 나타내었다. 둘째, 창의성과 진로성숙도 사이에 서로 유의한 정적 교차지연효과를 나타내어 상호 인과적 예측력이 있음을 보였다. 셋째, 창의성과 진로성숙도의 모든 자기회귀효과에서 여학생 집단이 남학생 집단보다 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 창의성과 진로성숙도의 교차지연효과 일부에서 남녀 간 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 중학생의 창의성과 진로성숙도를 강화할 수 있는 교육과 훈련에 대해 그리고 남녀 특성을 반영한 진로지도의 방향에 대해서 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to longitudinally analyze how middle school students' creativity and career maturity change over time and the mutual causal relationship between the two variables, and to determine whether these relationships differ depending on gender. For this purpose, panel data from the 3rd to 5th surveys (1st to 3rd grade of middle school) of the Korean Education Longitudinal Study 2013 (KELS 2013) were used, and the subjects of the study were a total of 6,149 students, including 3,006 male students and 3,143 female students. Autoregressive cross-lagged model and multi-group analysis were applied to verify the research model. The research results are as follows. First, creativity and career maturity showed stable autoregressive effects over time. Second, there was a significant positive cross-lagged effect between creativity and career maturity, showing that they have mutual causal predictive power. Third, the female group was found to have a greater impact than the male group in all autoregressive effects of creativity and career maturity. Fourth, it was found that there were differences between men and women in some of the cross-lagged effects of creativity and career maturity. Lastly, we discussed education and training that can enhance the creativity and career maturity of middle school students and the direction of career guidance that reflects the characteristics of men and women.
