가족치료 과정에서 발생한 내담자 부모의 저항에 대처하는 치료자의 개입방법에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 단일사례연구로 가족치료과정에서 발생한 내담자 부모의 저항과 그에 대한 치료자의 대처방법에 대해 제시하고 있다. 이 사례에서는 원가족의 역기능적 특성과 부모에 대한 내담자의 부정적 감정이 내담자의 돌발행동을 야기시켰고, 이로 인해 부모는 내담자와 치료자를 부적절하게 비난하는 저항을 나타냈다. 연구자는 부모의 내담자에 대한 비난에 대처하는 치료자의 대처방법과 부모의 치료자에 대한 비난에 대한 대처방법으로 나누어 분석하였다. 내담자에 대한 부모의 비난에 대해서는 가족갈등의 원인과 가족관계 회복에 초점을 두어 내담자와 부모의 과도한 흥분 낮추기, 대화방식의 재구조화, 직면, 관점의 전환, 관계개선의 대안제시 등의 방법을 사용하였다. 치료자에 대한 부모의 비난에 대해서는 치료자와 부모와의 신뢰관계 재형성, 객관적 태도 유지하기, 가족치료과정에 몰입하도록 유도하기 등의 방법을 사용하였다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to identify the resistance of the parents to both the client and therapist during the process of family therapy and the therapist’s coping techniques used to deal with the parents’ resistance. The dysfunctional characteristics in the family of origin and the client’s negative feeling toward his parents caused the client’s outbreaks. Due to such behavior, the parents in appropriately blamed their son and therapist and showed resistance to the family therapy. The study divided the therapist’s coping techniques in response to the parents’ resistance into two ways. One was the therapist’s coping techniques for dealing with the parents’ resistance to their son, and the other was the therapist’s coping techniques for dealing with the parents’ resistance to the therapist. With the goal of mitigating the parents’ blame toward their son, the therapist used various coping techniques such as making the parents calm down their excessive excitement, restructuring the communication method, encouraging confrontation, changing the parents’ point of view and proposing an alternative approach for the recovery of the family relationship between the client and his parents. On the other hand, the therapist used reconstructing rapport, maintaining an objective attitude, and leading the client and his parents to immerse themselves in family therapy as coping techniques to lower the parents’ resistance to the therapist.
