국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은 녹문 홍경신의 생애와 교유관계 그리고 시세계의 특징에 대한 고찰이다. 16~17세기 조선의 시단에서 홍경신은 당대의 저명한 문인들과 枕流臺詩社를 중심으로 활발히 교유하였다. 홍경신은 ‘慕古爲學’의 창작 정신을 기반으로 ‘尙友’와 ‘獨得’을 창작의 구체적인 실천 방법으로 제시하며 이것을 ‘妙法’이자 ‘玄旨’라고 평하였다. 창작 논리에서 확인되는 홍경신의 好古的 경향은 그의 시작에도 반영되어 송시풍과 당시풍이 혼효된 상황에서 점차 당시풍의 우세로 변모되어 가는 당대 시단의 구체적인 모습을 반영하는 양상을 나타내었다. 그 예가 서곤체와 의산체 시의 창작이며, 이백의 작풍을 주로 추숭하는 경향을 나타낸 ‘청련체’ 시의 창작과 현실을 벗어난 선계에 대한 동경이 감지되는 탈속적인 시세계이다. 그 외에 그의 창작 능력을 확인할 수 있는 것으로 역사적 인물을 소재로 한 영사시의 창작이나, 작시 능력을 보여주는 잡체시의 창작, 초사풍의 장편시, 다수의 악부체 시가 창작 등을 거론할 수 있다. 홍경신의 시세계는 16세기 시단의 중심을 이룬 강서시풍의 퇴조와 함께 등장한 당시풍의 유행 그리고 명나라 의고파의 영향으로 인한 의고적 특징을 아울러 나타낸다는 점에서 16~17세기에 이르는 조선 시단의 변화를 작품으로 체현한 구체적인 사례로서 한시사에서 그 위상과 의미가 중요하다고 평할 수 있다.

영문 초록

In the 16th and 17th centuries of Joseon, Hong Gyeong-shin actively engaged with prominent writers of the time and members of the Chimryudae group(枕流臺詩社). Based on the creative spirit of “MoGo-Wihak(慕古爲學),” Hong Kyung-shin presented “Sang-woo(尙友)” and “Dok-dek(獨得)” as concrete methods of creation, calling them “Myo-beob(妙法)” and “Hyeon-ji(玄旨).” Hong Kyung-shin's tendency to admire the old creative tendencies confirmed in his creative logic was also reflected in his work, reflecting the specific aspects of contemporary literature that gradually transformed into the dominance of Dangsi-style(唐詩風) in a mixture of Songsi-style(宋詩風) and Dangsi-style. An example is the creation of Soegon-style(西崑體) and Yuisan-style(義山體) poems, a poetry creation style that shows a tendency to mainly follow Libaek's creative tendency, and a poem in which admiration for the world of Taoism beyond reality is detected. In addition, his creative ability can be confirmed by creating projections based on historical figures, creating prototypes of various styles that show his creative ability, Chosa-style long poems, and a number of musical poems. Hong, Gyeong-sin’s poems exemplify the trend of Dangsi-style, which emerged with the decline of the Gang-Seo poetry style, which was the center of the Joseon Dynasty in the 16th century. His poetry also shows the historical characteristics of the influence of the Dangsi-style of the Ming Dynasty. In this respect, his poetry can be evaluated as important in that it is a concrete example of realizing the changes in the Joseon poetry stage in the 16th and 17th centuries.
