부·울·경 지역의 산업생산연계성 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국은행에서 2020년 7월 발표한 2015년 지역산업연관표를 이용하여 부산·울산·경남지역의 산업생산이 미치는 파급효과와 피드백효과를 분석하고, 2005년 기준 분석결과와 비교하였다. 분석결과, 생산파급효과 측면에서 볼 때 이들 지역은 상호 많은 영향을 미치고 있었다. 특히 생산에 있어 부산의 인접지역(울산, 경남)에 대한 의존도는 울산과 경남의 부산에 대한 의존도보다 더 높았다. 그러나 2005년과 2015년을 비교할 때 전체적으로 세 지역간 연관관계가 약화되었는데, 특히 울산의 부산 및 경남과의 생산측면에서의 협력관계가 약화된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이들 지역의 인접지역을 통한 피드백효과는 크지 않은 것으로 나타나, 이들 지역의 지속적인 상생발전을 위해서는 상호피드백효과를 제고할 수 있는 산업협력이 필요함을 시사한다. 한편 지역간 협력은 상호파급효과와 피드백효과가 큰 제조업을 중심으로 보다 강화할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 부산의 경우 울산과는 자동차, 경남과는 선박분야에 있어 협력을 보다 강화할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze production spillover effect and feedback effect among three regions, Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, using Korea’s regional input-output table(2005, 2015). The results show that the three regions’ production interdependence measured by interregional spillover and feedback effect is relatively higher compared to interdependence with other regions. Especially the dependence of Busan on the two regions is higher than the dependence of two regions on Busan in the production. This means that Busan’s production cooperation with the two regions is critical for its production growth. However measured by interregional production spillover effect, the interdependence among the three regions in 2015 got weaker than in 2005. Also the production feedback effect among the three regions got weaker over the two years. These results show that in the sustainable economic growth aspect, more active production cooperation among the regions is needed. The cooperation should be made in the industries which has higher production spillover effect and feedback effect among the three regions. The results show that those industries are manufacturing industries, for example, automotive industry for Busan and Ulsan, shipbuilding industry for Busan and Gyeongnam.
