한국독립영화에 반영된 영화적 미장아빔(cinemetic mise-en-abyme)에 관한 연구

국문 초록

영화 텍스트는 복수의 텍스트를 배치하여 형성된다. 문학 작품에서 상호텍스트성으로 언술된 부분은 영화의 적용에 일정한 한계를 노정하였다. 한국 독립영화에서 두드러진 텍스트의 습합과 함축 경향을 미학적으로 규명하려는 취지에서자기반영성과 상호텍스트성이라는 기존의 개념에서 유연하게 벗어나 기운생동하는 영화 텍스트에 부합한 영화적 미장아빔이라는 개념을 도출하였다. 영화적 미장아빔은 복수의 선행 텍스트가 배치된다는 점에서 아빔이라는 용어를 선택하였으며 영화적 요소가 부가된다는 대전제로 인해 영화적이라는 접두어를 첨언하였다. 영화적 미장아빔은 영화적 요소를 기반으로 한 다양한 텍스트들의 함축적 배치를 의미한다. 영화적 미장아빔은 텍스트의 다양한 해석 가능성을 열어줄 것으로 기대한다. 한국독립영화에 배치된 영화적 미장아빔은 다음 몇 가지 특징을 보여준다. 첫번째는 서사는 현재진행형으로 생성 중이다. 두 번째는 기원의 텍스트는 단수의텍스트이기 보다는 복수의 텍스트가 상호 습합된다. 세 번째는 영화와 감독 자신에 대한 자기 성찰이 심층에 존재한다. 네 번째는 하이포 텍스트로서 영화나 영화와 관련된 요소를 배치한다. 다섯 번째는 중층적인 텍스트가 배치된 영화는 복수의 서사와 픽션과 논픽션의 경계가 교란된 동시주의적 태도를 취한다. 이는 영화가 현묘한 예술의 장으로 이미 진입했다는 사실을 입증하며 현대 영화의 새로운 언어 모색과 실험에 대한 생산적 실천양상의 징표로 여겨진다.

영문 초록

A film is composed of a context mixed various art genre. Though concepts and academic discussions suitable film theory have been demanded. Intertextuality is still adapted to film study uncritically, accepting the theory of Bakhtin, Roland Barthes, Gérard Genette. This study is a result of try to establish tendency of syncretism and implication from an aesthetic point of view. The previous concepts of intertextuality and self-reflexivity make extensiveness text limited. This study try creative concepts to ‘cinematic mise-en-abyme’. This word expect to the demand of more flexible concepts for interpretation and aesthetic naming. Cinematic mise-en-abyme has a basic premise of the film and plays a variety of variations of quotation, transformation and parody for other texts. This study draws the concept of ‘cinematic mise-en-abyme’, choosing the term of ‘cinematic’ as cinematic elements intervene as a major premise and adding the term of ‘mise-en-abyme’ as implication and placement of a variety of texts. Cinematic mise-en-abyme in the Korean independent film has several types and features. first type is the cinematic mise-en-abyme directly connected with denotational text. second type is the cinematic mise-en abyme combined denotational text with the cinematic apparatus. third type is the cinematic mise-en-abyme placed as Simultantisme combination of structural layered texts. The features of cinematic mise-en-abyme placed independent film are followed by. First, the narration is formated rather than is completed. Second, the origin text is several texts not one, these absorbs and unite each other. Third, self-reflection for the film and the director exists in the depths. Forth, the film or elements related the film are placed as hypo-text necessarily. Fifth, the film placed multi-structural layered texts is not available the structure of closed ending, have several narrations, and do not divide the fiction or the non-fiction, the film or the reality. Cinematic mise-en-abyme is the main element engaging narration, subject and aesthetic creation of a text directly or indirectly. cinematic mise-en-abyme makes possibilities of a variety of interpretation and contributes to aesthetic experiment and advancement of cinematic terms.
