국문 초록

전후 북한영화계는 영화제작 시설과 영화기구들을 정비하고 인력을 양성하고 보급 조직을 정비하는 등 인프라를 구축하는 것이 가장 중요한 일이었다. 이 논 문은 전후 복구 과정에서 북한영화의 인프라가 어떻게 구축되었는지, 이를 통해 당과 정부의 정책이 영화계에 어떻게 전달되고 이것이 영화관련 조직에 어떻게 반영되었는지를 살펴보고 있다. 이 시기 김일성의 목소리를 통해 계속적으로 제기되는 당의 요구는 급속한 영화예술의 성장과 이에 걸맞은 역량을 갖추는 것이었다. 이는 조직을 정비하고 영 화제작 인프라를 구축하고 영화의 사상적, 예술적 수준을 제고하기 위한 교양사 업을 전개하는 것으로 정리 할 수 있다. 이러한 당의 요구는 영화산업의 틀과 선 전기구로써 영화의 기능을 담보하는 등의 성과로 나타났다. 하지만 남로당숙청에 서 8월종파사건으로 이어진 계속된 정치적 풍파는 영화제작을 주도하는 창작자 들을 위축시키는 등의 부작용도 가져 왔다. 권력투쟁 과정에서 당을 장악한 김일성은 자신의 권력을 보다 공고하게 만들 기 위해 무엇보다 당성을 강조했으며 이는 당의 뿌리가 김일성의 항일유격투쟁 에서 기인한다는 식의 선전으로 이어졌다. 실제로 1950년대 후반부터 북한영화에 서 김일성의 항일유격투쟁은 중요한 영화적 소재로 활용되었음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The post-war North Korean film industry had the most important task of establishing the infrastructure, such as refining film production facilities and film equipment, fostering manpower, and refining the supply organization. This article examines how the film infrastructure was established during the post-war recovery process and how the policies of the party and government were transferred to the film world and how it was reflected in the film-related organizations. The party’s demand, which was raised continuously through Kim Il-sung’s voice during this period, was the rapid growth of cinema and the ability to match it. It was to develop a liberal arts project to reorganize the organization, to build infrastructure, and to raise the ideological and artistic level. This resulted in securing the function of the film as a framework and propaganda mechanism for the film industry, but the continued political winds from Namrodang purge to the August sectarian incident also resulted in side effects such as shrinking the creators of the film production. In this process, Kim Il-sung who took control of the party, emphasized party spirit in order to consolidate power, leading to the propaganda that the root of the party originated from Kim Il-sung’s anti-Japanese strike. Indeed, since the late 1950s, Kim Il-sung’s anti-Japanese strike was used as an important film material in North Korean films.
