국문 초록

제주는 최근 인구 증가와 함께 지역에 공헌하고자 하는 새로운 인적 자원인 이주민의 수용과 오랜 시간 형성되고 공유되어온 지역 가치에 대한 존중에 대한 조화가 지역사회의 중요한 과제로 떠오르고 있다. 지역사회 중심 미술교육은 교수와 학습의 주체가 그 과정에 참여하기를 원하는 모든 사람들에게 개방될 수 있어야 하며, 그들을 지역사회와 연결시키고 자문화의 소중함과 정체성을 찾고 발전시킬 수 있다는 특징을 지닌다. 이에 본 연구는 제주 민화를 매개로 지역사회 미술교육 참여자가 경험한 현상을 겪은 그대로 이해하고 기술함으로써 오늘날 제주 지역사회 미술교육의 경험이 지닌 본질적 의미를 드러내고 그 가치를 재고하고자 한다. 이는 지역의 문화예술 콘텐츠가 커뮤니티의 정체성을 고취 시키는 경험을 제공할 수 있는가를 살펴볼 수 있는 기초적인 자료가 될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Jeju has recently seen a rapid increase in migrants. This also means an increase in human resources that can contribute to the region. It also means damage to the locality that has been preserved for a long time. The harmony of these two conflicting values is very important to the community. Community-Based Art Education (CBAE) should be open to everyone who wants to participate in teaching and learning processes. Community-Based Art Education (CBAE) has the advantage of informing learners of the importance and identity of their local culture. Today, citizens of Jeju need to recognize that they are members of a community, not immigrants and residents, majors and non-majors, educators and learners. Jeju s folk painting will be of great significance as a theme of Community-Based Art Education (CBAE) because it can provide an experience to enhance the identity of the community. This study aims to clarify what they have experienced and what folk painting education experiences mean to them for participants in Jeju folk painting art education. This could reveal the essential value of Jeju Community-Based Art Education (CBAE). The philosophical background of this study is Heidegger s ontology. In addition, van Manen s hermeneutic phenomenology based on this was used as a major research method.
