미술의 지식 구조에 기초한 래티스 모형의 교수·학습 적용 방안 탐구

국문 초록

애플랜드의 래티스 모형은 미술을 중심으로 다양한 학문 지식들을 통합적으로 지도하는 격자 형태의 교육과정 및 교수·학습 모델이다. 학습자들의 인지 유연성을 함양하기 위해 다양한 경로로의 접근, 여러 사례들로부터 법칙이나 구조를 발견하는 학습법을 제안한다. 그러나 복잡한 지식을 전제로 하는 래티스 모형은 초기 학습자들에는 어렵다는 난점을 갖는데, 애플랜드는 ‘원리 조직’과 ‘의미 만들기’라는 개인적 구성물로서 지식 구조 중심의 학습 설계를 극복 방안으로 제시하였다. 따라서 연구자는 미술 교과 고유의 특성에 따른 체화된 지식, 해석적 지식, 직관적 지식, 통합적 지식이라는 네 가지 구조를 제시하고 인지 유연성을 함양할 수 있는 교수·학습 설계 방안을 제안하였다. 미술 지식은 신체를 통해 습득되기에 다양한 감각, 도구와 매체, 환경과의 상호작용을 이끌어야 하고, 미술 지식은 해석적이기에 개인적 의미 만들기의 접근법이 사용되어야 한다. 또한 미술 지식은 직관을 통해 형성되기에 제한 없는 발상을 이끌어야 하고, 미술 지식은 통합적이기에 미술을 중심에 두고 여러 경로에서 접근하는 지식 구성이 이루어져야 한다. 이처럼 미술 지식의 구조에 기초한 래티스 모형의 적용 방안은 미술 고유의 원리와 가치를 중심으로 인지 유연성을 기르는 데 기여할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Efland s Lattice model is a grid-based curriculum and teaching-learning model in which various academic knowledges are instructed around art. In order to enhance the cognitive flexibility of learners, it propose a method of learning to find a principle or structure from various cases and access to various paths. However, the Lattice model on the basis of complex knowledge is difficult to apply to early learners. So Efland suggested designing learning based on knowledge structures as personal constructs of ‘organization of principle’ and ‘make meaning’ as a way to overcome the difficult. Therefore, I suggested four knowledge structures of art that is embodied knowledge, interpretive knowledge, intuitive knowledge, and integrated knowledge on according to the characteristics of art, and proposed a teaching and learning design method that can cultivate cognitive flexibility. Since artistic knowledge is acquired through body, it must lead to the use of various senses, interactions with tools, media, and environment. and since artistic knowledge is interpretive, so an approach of personal meaning making should be used. Since artistic knowledge is formed through intuition, it must be lead from unlimited ideas, and since artistic knowledge is integrative, it must be constructed through approaches from various paths centered on art. So the application of lattice model based on knowledge structures of art can contribute to the development of cognitive flexibility around the principles and values ​​of art.
