자원봉사활동 참여 동기가 자원봉사 성과에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 충청남도에서 자원봉사자 중 신중년 세대(50~69세)를 대상으로 설문조사한 결과이며, 총 250부가 최종 분석에 활용되었다. 또한 충남지역 자원봉사자들의 참여를 촉진하고자 자원봉사자의 참여동기가 자원봉사활동 만족도에 미치는 영향력을 검증하고 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 참여 동기 외에도 자원봉사 인정제도에 대한 관련성도 살펴보고자 한다. 첫째, 충남지역 신중년세대 자원봉사자들의 참여 형태 중 참여동기를 살펴본 결과 대체로 개인적 동기보다 이타적 동기가 높고, 주변 동료 및 가족, 친구의 권유로 참여하는 경우가 많았다. 둘째, 상관관계 결과에서, 자아가치증진 동기와 이타적 동기가 높아질수록 자원봉사자의 개인적 만족과 이타적 만족이 높아진다. 경력증진 동기는 이타적 만족도에서만 유의미한 결과가 나타났으며, 인정제도 인식은 자원봉사활동 만족도와의 관계에서 유의미한 결과가 발견되지 않았다. 셋째, 자원봉사 참여동기는 개인적 만족과 이타적 만족 대부분에 영향요인으로 작용한다. 즉, 자원봉사의 자아가치증진 동기, 경력증진 동기, 이타적 동기 모두 개인적 만족을 형성하는 원인으로 작용하고 있었다. 넷째, 인정제도에 대한 인식은 자원봉사활동을 수행하는 과정에서 만족감을 형성하는데 중요한 영향요인으로 작용하지 않고 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study is the result of a survey of 50-69-year-olds in new-middle aged among volunteers in Chungcheongnam-do. In addition, the purpose is to verify the influence of volunteer participation motivation on volunteer activity satisfaction in order to promote participation of Chungnam volunteers, and to find out the influence of volunteer participation motivation among various factors affecting volunteer satisfaction. In addition, I would like to examine the relevance of the voluntary service accreditation system. To summarize the results, first, among the participation types of volunteers from the Chungnam region, the selfless motives are generally higher than personal motives. Second, as a result of the correlation, the higher the self-worth promotion motivation and altruistic motivation, the higher the personal and altruistic satisfaction of volunteers. There was a significant result in altruistic satisfaction as for the motivation for career promotion, and no significant result was found for recognition of the accreditation system and satisfaction in volunteer activities. Third, voluntary participation motivation acts as an influencing factor on most of personal and altruistic satisfaction. In other words, the motivation for self-worth, career promotion, and altruistic motivation of volunteers are all factors that form personal satisfaction. Fourth, recognition of the accreditation system did not affect both personal and altruistic satisfaction, and there was no correlation. In other words, recognition of the accreditation system does not act as an influencing factor in forming a sense of satisfaction in the process of performing volunteer activities.
