국문 초록

본 연구는 집단음악 프로그램을 성인 지적장애인들에게 적용하여 대상자들의 사회적 기술과 정서의 변화를 분석하여, 이에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 성인 지적장애인 8명이며, 악기연주를 포함한 집단음악 프로그램을 4주간 적용하였다. 사회적 기술을 평가하기 위해서 사회생활기술척도를 활용하였으며, 정서의 변화를 측정하기 위해서 음악심리치료 개별능력평가를 활용하였다. 사회적 기술에 대한 분석결과 모든 사회적 기술에 대한 항목에서 집단음악 프로그램 참여 후 증가가 나타났다. 정서에 대한 분석결과 정서적 상태와 표현 항목에서 모두 증가가 나타났다. 집단음악 프로그램은 성인 지적장애인들의 사회적 기술을 향상시키고 정서적 안정과 정서를 표현하는 데 작용한다. 따라서, 성인 지적장애인들의 사회적 기술의 향상과 정서적 안정, 정서표현을 향상시키기 위해서 집단음악 프로그램의 적용을 고려해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the changes of the social skills and emotion of the adults with intellectual disability by applying group music program and then provide the basic information about that. The study subjects were 8 adults with intellectual disability and they were participated in 4-weeks group music program included in music instrument play. To analysis of the social skills, the Social Skills Scales was used and the measurement of emotion was used by the music psychotherapy individual ability test. The results of social skills showed the increase in all items after the participation in group music program. The results of the motion showed the increased in emotional status and expression. The group music program acts positively to improve the social skills, induce the emotional stability, and increase the emotional expression of the adults with intellectual disability. Thus, to improve the social skills, induce the emotional stability, and increase the emotional expression of the adults with intellectual disability, the group music program should be considered to apply for them.
