낙관성과 심리적 안녕감과의 관계에서 장애수용의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 장애수용이 장애인의 낙관성과 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계를 매개하는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 전국의 대학 4곳, 장애인단체 3곳, 장애인복지관 1곳, 장애인시설 6곳에서 총 46명의 성인장애인(정신지체 제외)을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료를 분석한 결과, 첫째, 낙관성, 장애수용, 심리적 안녕감은 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애수용이 낙관성과심리적 안녕감 간의 관계를 완전매개 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 장애수용의 하위요인(직접적 영향, 상대적 영향, 장애극복)을 분석한 결과는 직접적 영향이 낙관성과 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계를 부분매개 하는 반면에 상대적 영향과 장애극복은 낙관성과 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계를 완전매개 하는것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 낙관성과 장애수용에 대한 개입을 통해 장애인의 심리적 안녕감수준을 높일 수 있음을 의미한다.

영문 초록

In this study, we examined disability acceptance mediates the relationship between optimism and psychological well - being of disabled. For this purpose, we conducted an online survey 46 disabled adults (excluding mental retardation) 4 universities, 3 disabled groups, 1 disabled welfare center, and 6 disabled facilities. As a result, first, optimism, disability acceptance, and psychological well - being were significantly correlated. Second, disability acceptance was found to fully mediate the relationship between optimism and psychological well - being. Third, as a result of analyzing the disability acceptance sub - factors (direct influence, relative influence, overcoming disability), direct influence partially mediate the relationship between optimism and psychological well - being, whereas relative influence and overcoming disability were found to fully mediate the relationship between optimism and psychological well - being. This result implies that the psychological wellbeing level of the disabled can be improved through the intervention of optimism and disability acceptance.
