국문 초록

본 연구는 노인의 자원봉사활동동기가 긍정노후인식에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 이 과정에서 가족건강성의 매개효과와 욕구충족도가 조절된 매개효과를 보이는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 설문 조사를 통해 자원봉사를 하고 있는 노인 472명을 대상으로 SPSS 26.0과 PROCESS Macro v4.2를 활용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도, 매개효과, 조절된 매개효과분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과 자원봉사활동동기가 가족건강성에 유의미한 영향을 미치며, 가족건강성도 긍정노후인식에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 이를 통해 가족건강성이 자원봉사활동동기와 긍정노후인식 관계에서 매개변수로 작용함이 확인되었다. 특히, 욕구충족도는 자원봉사활동동기가 가족건강성을 경유하여 긍정노후인식에 도달하는 경로를 조절하며, 욕구충족도의 수준에 따라 직접효과와 간접효과의 변동이 나타났다. 욕구충족도가 높아질수록 긍정노후인식이 증가하였으나, 낮은 경우 자원봉사활동동기의 직접적인 효과가 더욱 컸다. 연구 결과를 토대로 가족 지원체계와 욕구충족도가 노인 복지 정책 설계에 중요한 요소임을 시사하며, 지역사회 기반의 상담 및 교육프로그램, 가족 단위의 지원 네트워크 구축이 필요함을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to clarify the influence of motivation for volunteer activities on positive aging awareness in older adults, examining the moderated mediation effects of needs satisfaction. Surveys were administered to 472 senior volunteers and analyzed through SPSS 26.0 and PROCESS Macro v4.2 for frequencies, reliability, mediation, and moderated mediation effects. The results demonstrated that motivation for volunteer activity significantly improved family health, which, in turn, statistically contributed to a more positive aging awareness in older adults. Family health fully mediated the link between motivation for volunteer activities and positive aging awareness. Notably, needs satisfaction moderated both the direct and indirect pathways: heightened needs satisfaction increased positive aging awareness, while those with lower needs satisfaction experienced a stronger direct effect of motivation for volunteer activities on positive aging awareness. Based on these outcomes, the study emphasizes the necessity of incorporating strong family support mechanisms and effective needs satisfaction strategies into eldercare policy frameworks, advocating for community-level counseling, educational programs, and the creation of family-based support systems.
