스마트패드 기반 수학 수업에서 디지털 리터러시와 학습만족도, 학업성취도에 대한 학습몰입의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 수학 수업 환경에서 디지털 리터러시가 학습만족도와 학업성취도에 미치는 영향과 이들 사이의 학습몰입의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학습자의 디지털 리터러시를 독립변인으로, 학습만족도와 학업성취도를 종속변인으로, 학습몰입을 매개변인으로 상정하였다. 초등학교 4학년 학생 113명을 대상으로 스마트패드를 활용하여 3주간 수학수업을 진행한 후, 디지털 리터러시, 학습몰입, 학습만족도에 대한 설문을 실시하였고, 수학과 단원평가를 통해 학업성취도를 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 스마트패드 기반 수학 수업에서 학습자의 디지털 리터러시는 학습만족도(β = .526)와 학업성취도(β = .481)를 모두 유의미하게 예측함을 확인하였고, 몰입은 디지털 리터러시와 만족도, 디지털 리터러시와 성취도 관계에서 각각 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 스마트기기를 활용한 수업 환경에서 학습 성과 향상을 위해서는 궁극적으로 교과 커리큘럼에 디지털 리터러시 교육을 통합시키고 학습몰입 전략을 동시에 고려하는 수업 방안 및 자료의 구성이 필요함을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between digital literacy, flow, satisfaction and achievement, and the mediating effect of flow on the effect of digital literacy on satisfaction and achievement in elementary math learning environment using smartpads. The study proposed a hypothesized model, where digital literacy was set as an independent variable, satisfaction and achievement as dependent variables, and flow as a mediating variable. 113 of 4th grade elementary students were taught mathematics using smartpads for 3 weeks. After the math lessons, the students were asked to respond to survey that includes questions about digital literacy, satisfaction, and flow. Math achievement was also measured. The results showed that digital literacy predicted both satisfaction(β = .526) and achievement(β = .481). It was also found that flow partially mediated the relationship between digital literacy and satisfaction, between digital literacy and achievement. Based on the findings, it is suggested to develop instructional strategy and materials integrating digital literacy education into each content area with strategy to enhance flow while students’ learning.
