관계중독 개념 도출 델파이 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 상담 및 교육 관련 분야 전문가 15인에게 델파이 조사를 실시하여 지나치게 특정 관계에 집착하거나 부정적인 관계임에도 벗어나지 못하고 심리적 고통을 경험하는 어려움을 겪는 관계적 어려움에 대하여 관계중독이라는 개념으로 사용하는 것에 대한 적합성, 그리고 관계중독의 특성, 관계중독의 하위구인 및 관계중독의 인지적, 정서적, 행동적 특성 및 여타 행동중독과 달리 관계중독만이 가지는 특성을 도출하기 위하여 실시하였다. 전문가들에게 관계중독이라는 용어 사용에 대한 적합성을 확인한 결과, 주로 동의나 매우 동의한다고 응답하였다(M=4.07, SD=0.70, CVR=0.80). 하위구인으로는 ‘집착’, ‘일상생활문제’, ‘현저성’, ‘부적 정서’, ‘갈등’, ‘금단’, ‘조절력 상실’, ‘재발’ 등이 CVR 0.80 이상으로 합의 과정을 통해 도출되었다. 인지적 특성 6가지, 정서적 특성 10가지, 행동적 특성 11가지가 확인되었고 더불어 관계중독은 물질이나 행동의 중독이 아니라 인간에 대한 중독이기 때문에 문화적 특성 및 발달과정상 시기적 특성에 대한 고려가 필요함에 대해 전문가들의 합의가 있었다. 본 연구는 지금까지 명확하게 합의되지 못하여 이성 관계만의 특성이라고 여겨졌던 관계에서의 어려움에 대해 관계중독이라는 개념을 도출하고 하위 영역 및 특징에 대해 체계화를 하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to define relationship addiction and to find out variables of relationship addiction. For this, Delphi Survey was conducted involving 15 counseling psychology and education experts. We have confirmed that it is appropriate to define the relationship difficulties experienced by people experiencing psychological distress who are unable to escape in spite of their relationship being severely adhered to or negatively affecting individuals, in terms of relationship addiction. We also derived the characteristics of relationship addiction, subordinate of relationship addiction, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral characteristics of relationship addiction and how relationship addiction differs from other behavior addiction. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The use of the term relationship addiction was evaluated by the experts. (M = 4.07, SD = 0.70, CVR = 0.80). The subcontractors consisted of consensus process with CVR of more than 0.80 for obsession , daily life problem , salient , negative emotional , conflict , withdrawal , loss of control . There are 6 cognitive characteristics, 10 emotional characteristics, 11 behavioral characteristics, and addiction is not addiction of substance or behavior but addiction to human. Therefore, cultural characteristics and developmental processes need to be considered. This study confirmed the concept of relationship addiction, which had not been clearly agreed upon previously. It is meaningful that this systematized the sub-areas and characteristics of the difficulties that could arise in a more diverse relationship status.
