국문 초록

역사상 무슬림들을 전도하려는 크리스천들의 노력에도 불구하고 그들은 서로 다르다는 것을 인식하며 대화를 마쳐온 것으로 보여진다. 그것은 계시에 대한 서로 다른 이해에 기인한다. 본 논문은 큐란 계시의 이해에 관한 것이다. 논문의 목적은 무하마드계시의 진정성을 비평하는 것이다. 저자는 이슬람은 계시 종교인가라는 도전적인 질문을 던진다. 논문에서 저자는 오늘날 무하마드 계시의 기록된 형태인 큐란이 진정한 계시로 증명될 수 있는 두 가지 기준 을 제공한다. 첫째, 큐란이 계시 발전의 관점에서 유대교와 기독교와 관계하여 연속성을 보이는가 이다. 둘째, 오늘날 우리에게 주어진 큐란이 당시 아라비아에 산재되어 있는 다양한 자료와 사본들에 반하여 비평적 본문으로 존재하는가 이다. 우트만 사본이 무하마드 계시의 원형으로 간주되어야 한다는 주장은 부정된다. 저자는 큐란 계시가 진정성을 확인하는 두 가지 기준으로부터동떨어져 있다고 결론 짓는다. 비록 큐란이 무하마드 계시에 기초하여 있고 큐란의 목적에 따른 큐란 신학을 스스로 지니고 있다 할지라도, 큐란이 계시 발전의 빛에서 진정성을 갖고 있다고 말하기는 어렵다. 따라서 이슬람은 진정한 계시의 종교라고 말하기 어렵다.

영문 초록

In spite of Christian’s efforts to evangelize to Muslims in history, they have ended up with dialogue, recognizing that they are different. It is attributed to their different understanding about revelation. The paper is about an interpretation of Quranic revelation. The purpose of the paper is to critic the authenticity of Muhammad’s revelation. From the start, the author case a challenging question: Is Islam a religion of revelation? In the paper, the author gave two criteria with which the Quran as the written form of Muhammad’s revelation today can prove itself to be authentic revelation. First, it is of whether the Quran shows its continuity in relation to Judaism and Christianity from the perspective of revelatory development. Second, it is about whether the Quran, which is given to us today, exists as a critical text against various readings and materials that were prevailed and scattered in Arabia. The argument that Uthmanic codex should be considered to be the archetype of Muhammad’s revelation is denied. The author concluded that the Quranic revelation is apart from two criteria. Though the Quran is based on Muhammad’s revelation and has its theology for its own purpose, it is hard for us to say that the Quran is authentic in light of revelatory development. Thus, Islam is denied as a religion of true revelation.
