국문 초록

요한복음 5장의 안식일 표적 사건에는 새 창조와 안식이라는 주제가 함께 등장하여, 예수의 신분과 사역을 나타낸다. 예수는 그를 믿는 자를 새롭게 창조하여 영원한 안식으로 인도하는 하나님의 아들, 그리스도이시다. 새 창조와 안식은 그가 세우는 하나님 나라의 핵심내용인데, 이 두 주제가 5장의 안식일 표적 사건에서 강조된다. 첫째, 요한복음 5장에는 저는 자가 치유되는 새 출애굽 모티프가등장하여, 새 창조라는 주제를 강조한다(사 35:6). 본문에는 또한 출애굽을 배경으로 하는 안식일이나 모세에 대한 언급이 나와서, 출애굽 모티프를 강화한다. 둘째, 생명과 부활을 뜻하는 za,w, zwh,, zwopoiew, , evgei,rw, avnas, tasij가 반복적으로 사용되어, 새 창조 주제를드러낸다. 셋째, 예수께서는 아버지의 일을 성취하는 아들로 등장하는데(요 5:17), 요한복음에서 이 일은 새 창조의 하나님 나라를 세우는 것이다. 넷째, 안식이라는 주제도 요한복음 5장에서 강조된다. 5:1 의 절기는 무명으로 다뤄지는 데 반해, 표적 사건이 안식일에 일어났다는 것은 분명히 표시된다(요 5:9). 또한 5-10장은 절기 사이클로 구성되어, 예수께서 유대 절기의 종말론적 소망을 성취하는 이로 나오는데, 그 첫 번째 절기가 안식일이라는 것이 강조된다. 그리하여안식일 표적 사건은 예수께서 그를 믿는 자에게 영원한 안식을 주시는 종말론적 구원자라는 것을 보여준다. 그러므로, 요한복음 5장의안식일 표적 사건은 예수께서 새 창조와 안식을 가져오는 하나님 아들, 그리스도이심을 나타낸다.

영문 초록

In the Sabbath sign event of John 5, the themes of new creation and rest appear together, revealing the identity and ministry of Jesus. Jesus is the Son of God, the Christ, who renews those who believe in him and leads them into eternal rest. New creation and rest are central themes of the kingdom of God that he establishes, and these two themes are emphasized in the Sabbath sign event in John 5. First, John 5 features a motif of a new exodus with the healing of the lame man, highlighting the theme of new creation (cf. Isa. 35:6). The passage also references the Sabbath and Moses, which are tied to the Exodus background, reinforcing the motif of a new exodus. Second, words related to life and resurrection—zaō, zōē, zōopoieō, egeirō, and anastasis—are repeatedly used, underscoring the theme of new creation. Third, Jesus appears as the Son who accomplishes the work of the Father (John 5:17), and in the Gospel of John, this work is the establishment of God's Kingdom through new creation. Fourth, the theme of rest is also highlighted in John 5. While the feast in 5:1 is unnamed, it is clearly stated that the sign event occurs on the Sabbath (John 5:9). Moreover, chapters 5- 10 are structured around a cycle of Jewish feasts, and Jesus appears as the one who fulfills the eschatological hope of these festivals. It is emphasized that the first of these festivals is the Sabbath. Thus, the Sabbath sign event demonstrates that Jesus is the eschatological Savior who grants eternal rest to those who believe in him. Therefore, the Sabbath sign event in John 5 reveals that Jesus is the Son of God, the Christ, who brings about new creation and rest.
