국문 초록

특수교사가 특수교육의 질을 결정하는 핵심요인 중 하나로 밝혀진 상황에서 이 연구는 최근 10년 간 수행된 특수교사 관련 연구를 체계적으로 분석한 후 향후 연구 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 우선 2008년부터 2017년까지 한국연구재단 등재지에 실린 초․중등 특수교사 관련 연구 541편을 선별하였다. 이후 대상 연구를 연구 목적, 연구 방법, 연구 내용으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 연구 내용의 경우에는 하위 7개 항목을 순위별로 상세 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과를 보면, 첫째, 최근 10년 간 특수교사 관련 연구가 꾸준히 늘어나는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구 목적은 ‘실태 분석 및 개선안 도출’ 연구가 88.9%로 매우 높았다. 셋째, 연구 방법은 조사 연구와 질적 연구가 많았으며, 넷째, 연구 내용에서는 교직전문성 및 교직관 관련 연구와 교육과정 및 교과교육이 상대적으로 많았다. 반면 학교조직․문화, 주요 정책․제도에 관한 연구가 각각 9%로 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 논의에서는 주요 결과에 대한 함의와 향후 특수교사 관련 연구 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

As special education teaching is one of critical factors that decide the quality of such education, this study was performed to systematically analyze studies during the last 10 years related to special education teachers. This study also suggests future research directions. To meet these purposes, this study analyzed 541 studies in KCI journals from 2008 to 2017. Studies were analyzed based on research purposes, methods, and contents. The research contents were supplementally analyzed based on seven categories according to rank. According to the key findings, first, special education teachers related studies persistently increased during the last 10 years. Second, the percentages of studies about exploring current situations and proposing improvement points were overwhelmingly high. Third, survey and qualitative methods were most frequently used. Fourth, there were a relatively large number of studies on the teaching profession, teachers’educational perspectives, curriculum, and subject education. On the other hand, research on school organization, culture, policies, and systems were relatively low at 9%. In the discussion, implications of the key results and future research directions of special education teachers were suggested.
