국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 결혼이주남성과 한국인 아내로 구성된 다문화 가정을 대상으로 하여 가구 월평균 소득, 배우자 지지, 부부간 문화적 차이가 결혼이주남성(아버지)-자녀 관계에 영향을 미치는데 있어 결혼만족도의 간접효과가 있는지 살펴보고, 사회적 차별 경험 여부의 조절효과를 확인하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 2015년 전국다문화가족실태조사 자료에 기초하여 구조방정식 분석을 하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 가구 월평균 소득과 부부간 문화적 차이는 아버지-자녀 관계에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 반면, 결혼이주남성의 결혼만족도를 매개로 아버지-자녀 관계에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 결혼이주남성이 사회적 관계를 원만하게 형성하는 데 도움을 주는 배우자 지지는 아버지-자녀 관계에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라, 결혼만족도를 매개로 아버지-자녀 관계에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 다집단 분석 결과 사회적 차별을 경험했다고 응답한 집단에서 사회적 차별을 경험하지 않았다고 응답한 집단보다 배우자 지지가 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 정도가 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 강하게 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the indirect effect of married immigrant male’s marriage satisfaction regarding the relationship among family monthly incomes, partners’ support, and cultural differences on their father-child relationship. In addition, this study aimed to analyze whether these relationships vary depends on perceived experience in social discrimination. The participants of current study were married immigrant males who participated in the National Survey on Multi-cultural Families in 2015 and the results using by the structural equation model of the mediating and moderating effect verification are as follow. First, family monthly income and differences in cultural background of couple turned out to have no statistical direct effect on father-child relationship while marital satisfaction of married immigrant male turned out to have a mediating effect on father-child relationship. Second, this study revealed that the support from partner encourages father-child relationship and this relationship get stronger through marriage satisfaction. Third, results also confirmed that the relationship between support from parter and marriage satisfaction were stronger in men who experiences social discrimination than who do not. Based on the result, implications for research and practices were discussed.
