영문 초록

This paper analyzes the trend in the overall inequality of farm household income and carries out a decomposition of General Entropy measures into a between group component, based on factors such as farm operators age and their cultivated acreage and a component representing inequality within each group. An evident trend toward increasing inequality of household income was found during the period. Although most of the increase in measured inequality is attributed to the within-group component, the change in between-group inequality was significant for operators age, but not for their cultivated acreage.
