국문 초록

본 연구는 감정코칭 미술교육프로그램이 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구이다. 아동기는 정서 지능 형성에 있어 중요한 시기이며, 정서 발달을 위한 적절한 훈련이 요구된다. 이를 위해 자기를 표현하는 수단이며 감성을 계발하고 교육하는 매개체인 미술교육활동과 집단원간의 상호 감정코칭을 접목시킨 프로그램이 아동에게 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 본 연구는 Y구 미술학원의 7∼8세 아동 중 16명(실험집단 8명, 통제집단 8명)의 아동을 연구 대상으로 선정하였다. 강점․난점 설문지(the Korean version of Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire: SDQ-Kr 아동･청소년의 정신건강문제 선별도구)를 측정 도구로 활용하여 아동의 강점(사회지향행동)과 난점(과잉행동, 정서증상, 품행문제, 또래문제)에 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 자료 분석은 실험집단과 통제집단의 동질성을 위해 독립 t-test를 실시하였으며, 효과성 검증은 반복측정변량분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 우선 강점과 난점의 검사시기와 집단 간에도 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 난점의 하위영역에서 정서증상은 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나 과잉행동, 품행문제, 또래문제에서는 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 검사 시기 사이에는 하위영역 모두유의미한 차이를 보여 긍정적 변화가 나타났다. 그 결과 감정코칭 미술교육프로그램이 문제행동 아동의 강점인 사회지향행동과 난점인 과잉행동, 정서증상, 품행문제, 또래 문제에서도 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study is for examination of the effect of emotion coaching art education program on children’s problem behavior. Childhood is very significant period to build up emotional intelligence so that adequate training for emotional development is required. The study is conducted to find out the effect of the program combined art education activity and correlational emotion coaching between group members to children. The study participants are sixteen(eight of experimental group and eight of control group) selected from seven to eight years old children in Y-district private art school. SDQ-Kr as screening tool of children and adolescents’ mental health problem is utilized for measurement the effect of children’s Strengths(prosocial behaviors) and Difficulties(hyperactivity behaviors, emotional symptoms, conduct problems, peer problems). Independent t-test is performed as data analysis for homogeneity between experimental group and control group and repeated measures ANOVA is performed for effectiveness verification. The findings of this study are as follows. First of all, the significant difference is presented between test timing and groups of Strengths and Difficulties. And the significant difference is presented in hyperactivity behaviors, conduct problems and peer problems of Difficulties. The study result shows that emotion coaching art education program has positive effect on problem behavior children’s Strengths and Difficulties.
