중학생의 ‘빗속의 사람(PITR)’ 그림검사에 나타난 학교생활적응에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 중학생을 대상으로 빗속의 사람(PITR: Person in the Rain) 그림검사에 나타난 학교생활적응 수준을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 경기도에 소재한 중학교 1, 3학년 274명에게 PITR과 학교생활적응 검사를 실시하였다. PITR의 분석기 준은 스트레스, 스트레스 대처자원, PDI(Post Drawing Inventory) 등 세 가지 지표로 나누어 설정하였고, 자료 분석은 t검정, 일원변량분석과 사후검정으로 Scheffé test를 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 성별에 따른 중학생의 학교생활적응 수준을 비교한 결과 학교 수업에서는 남학생이 더 적응을 잘하고, 학교규칙준수에서는 여학생이 더 적응을 잘하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, PITR에 나타난 학교생활적응 수준은 스트레스 요인에서 남학생의 경우 비의 양, 비의 모양, 바람의 세기, 구름의 유무, 구름의 면적에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 여학생은 비의 방향과 비와 사람의 접촉, 번개와 사람의 관계에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 또한 PITR의 스트레스 대처자원에 따른 학교생활적응 수준은 남학생의 경우 얼굴 모습, 얼굴 표정, 인물의 위치에서, 여학생은 얼굴 표정, 나체 인물상 유무에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 마지막으로 PITR의 PDI에 따른 학교생활적응 수준은 남학생의 경우 그림의 느낌과 사람의 기분, 여학생은 사람의 나이, 그림의 느낌에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 이러한 연구결과를 통하여 PITR이 중학생의 학교생활적응 수준을 파악할 수 있는 도구로서 활용 가능성이 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the school life adjustment using PITR drawing test among middle school students. The PITR was given to the 274 middle school students including grade 1 and grade 3 in Gyongi providence. The research tools are based on stress, stress coping resources and PDI (post drawing inventory). The data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffé-test as post-hoc test. The results of this study are as follows: First, male students are more likely to adapt class environment better than female students, but female students followed school policy better than male students. Second, male students showed the significant differences in the amount of rain, shape of rain, velocity of wind, presence of clouds and size of clouds in the PITR for measuring their causes of stress. Female students showed the significant differences in the direction of rain, contacts of rain and people, relationship between lightning and people. Also, for stress coping resources in school life adjustment, significant differences showed in the facial appearance, facial expression and location of people among male students and in the facial expression and presence of naked people among female students. Lastly, significant differences showed in the impression of picture and condition of people among male students and age of people in picture, and impression of picture among female students for measuring PDI in the PITR. Thus, this study suggests possibility that PITR can be a tool to analyze middle school students’ school life adjustment.
