국문 초록

교육부는 2015년 9월에 핵심역량 함양을 위한 초․중등학교 교육과정 총론(이하 2015 개정 교육과정)을 고시하였으며 미술과는 총론의 핵심역량을 토대로 미래사회가 요구하는 ‘창의융합형 인재’ 양성을 위해 교과 역량을 도입하였다. 국가 교육과정은 교육의 기본 구조이자 미래사회에 대한 설계도이다. 2015 개정 교육과정에서 제시한 핵심역량과 교과 역량은 앞으로 우리나라 초․중등학교 교육이 지향해야 할 바를 표명한 것으로 특히 ‘심미적 감성 역량’의 도입은 긍정적인 평가를 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 미래사회를 전망하고 2015 개정 교육과정을 탐색함으로써 미술의 미래교육 방향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 미래에는 저출산․고령화, 다문화 가족의 증가, 특히 정보통신과 융합과학 기술이 고도화될 것이다. 이제 학교는 지식과 과학기술 혁명으로 인한 인간성의 재탐색, 개인성 극대화로 야기될 다양한 사회적 문제를 해결하기 위해 감성, 공감 등의 정서적 가치에 주목해야 한다. 미술은 본질적으로 정서와 직결되어 삶의 의미와 살아가는 힘을 길러주는 교육이다. 미술교육은 인간에 대한 이해, 자존감과 자아효능감, 상상력과 감성, 진로․직업의 기본소양, 뇌의 균형적 발달 등을 위한 중심적인 역할을 하게 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The Ministry of Education announced the Outline of Elementary and Middle School Curricula for the cultivation of core competencies in September 2015(Hereafter, referred to as “2015 Revised Curriculum”), and the Art Subject introduced subject competencies to cultivate ‘creative and convergence talent’ that the future society requires based on the core competencies in the Outline. The national curriculum is the basic structure of education and a blueprint for the future society. The core competencies and subject competencies proposed by the 2015 Revised Curriculum express objectives at which Korean elementary and middle school education should aim in the future, and especially, the introduction of the ‘competency of aesthetic sensitivity’ receives positive reviews. This study attempted to check the direction of the future direction of art by forecasting the future society and exploring the 2015 Revised Curriculum. In the future, low birth rate, aging and multi-cultural family will increase, and especially, information and communications and convergence scientific technology will advance. Now, schools should pay attention to emotional values such as sensitivity and sympathy in order to re-search humanity with knowledge and science technology revolution and to solve various social problems caused by the maximization of individuality. Art essentially is directly connected to emotions, which is an area that develops the meaning of life and the force for living, and art education is a core education for the understanding of human and the cultivation of self-esteem, self-efficacy, imagination, sensitivity, and the basic knowledge about career and job.
