국문 초록

본 연구는 공공미술 프로젝트에 대한 지역주민 인식이 지역사회 애착도 및 참여의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 관련 변인간의 관계를 탐색적으로 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 이 과정에서 서울시 종로구 이화동의 거주주민을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 250부의 설문지를 배포하였고 불성실하게 응답된 34부를 제외한 216부를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 자료 는 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 지역주민 인식 중 사회·문화적 인식, 환경적 인식, 경제적 인식 순으로 지역사회 애착도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회·문화적 인식, 환경적 인식, 경제적 인식 순으로 참여의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지역사회 애착도는 참여의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 공공미술 프로젝트에 대한 지역주민의 사회·문화적, 환경적, 경제적 인식이 지역사회 애착도와 참여의도를 높이는데 기여하고 있으며, 지역사회 애착도가 참여의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 중요한 변수임을 의미한다. 이상의 연구결과는 공공미술 프로젝트의 실효성을 실증적으로 검증하고 차후 보다 발전적인 방향을 모색하기 위한 근거자료 로써의 의미를 가질 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of local resident's perception for the public art project on community attachment and participatory intention, and then look into the relationship between variables. For this, a questionnaire survey of 250 residents in Ihwa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul was carried out, and 216 responses were used in final analysis, except 34 insincere responses. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS Win 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Study findings are as follows: First, among local resident's perceptions, sociocultural perception had biggest positive effect on community attachment and it was followed by environmental perception and economical perception in order. Second, sociocultural perception had biggest positive effect on participatory intention and it was followed by environmental perception and economical perception in order. Third, community attachment had positive effect on participatory intention. These findings seem to imply the fact that local resident's sociocultural perception, environmental perception and economical perception for the public art project contribute to the enhancement of community attachment and participatory intention, and community attachment is an important variable having positive effect on participatory intention. Since above study findings verified the effectiveness and practical value of the public art project, the author hopes they will be used in the study of groping after the developmental direction of the public art project in the future.
