국문 초록

2016년도부터 중학생을 대상으로 하는 자유학기제 전면 시행과 학교 내 미술 체험영역에 대한 보완으로 학교 밖 미술관련 체험활동에 대한 수요가 점점 커지고 있다. 그리고 최근 지역문화예술 공간의 증가와 지역을 중심으로 한 지역문화예술 공동체들이 날로 확장되고 있다. 현시점에서 지역사회의 일부인 학교가 지역문화예술과 연계하여 미술 수업을 할 수 있는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다고 보았다. 기존의 지역문화예술과 학교 수업의 연계에 대한 연구들은 지역 예술가를 학교 강사로 초빙하는 것과 지역 미술관, 박물관 관람 교육이 대부분이다. 본 연구는 중학교 미술수업과 지역문화예술의 연계 방안으로 학교 밖에서 이루어지는 체험을 중심으로 한다. 또한 연구자가 오랜 기간 거주해 온 부천지역을 중심으로 지역의 다양한 문화예술공간 및 문화예술공동체 프로그램들을 찾아보고 중학생들을 대상으로 하여 미술체험 수업과 어떻게 연계해볼 수 있을지를 탐색하고 연계 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 학교 미술수업에서의 체험영역을 확장하고 현장 교사들이 지역문화예술과 연계한 미술수업을 설계할 때 도움을 주고자 하는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Since 2016, the demand for do extracurricular field work related to art has become so great as a complement to intramural art experience area due to overall execution of the free semester program for junior high school students. Recently, the space of local cultural arts has grown and local cultural art communities have increased. At the present time we consider that schools need to seek for solution to start art class as parts of the local community, in conjunction with local cultural arts. Most of existing studies about the connection between local cultural arts and school classes are mainly related to inviting local artists as school lecturer and visiting local art galleries or museums. This study focuses on the experiences made out of school as a cooperation method between junior high school art classes and local cultural arts. This study aims at searching how various spaces of local cultural arts and programs of local cultural art communities could be connected to art experience class and suggesting cooperation method for junior high school students after visiting those places based on Bucheon region where researcher has lived for a long time. This study has a signification in that it would be helpful when field teachers try to expand experience area of students in art classes and to design art classes connected to local cultural arts.
