특수교육과 관련된 치료서비스에 대한 질적연구

국문 초록

배경 및 목적: 본 연구는 최근에 마련된 장애인 등에 대한 특수교육법에서 제시한 관련서비스에 대해 전문가들과의 심층면담을 통해서 특 수교육과 치료서비스 간의 전달체계, 지원내용 및 방법에 대한 제안과 요구들을 분석하였다. 방법: 질문지를 개발하여 6인의 전문가들을 방문하여 개별면담을 하였다. 면담내용은 대상자들의 동의하 에 모두 녹음한 후 일주일 이내에 전사하였으며, 전사자료는 연속적 비교법에 따라 부호화(coding) 하였고, 부호들(codes) 간의 연속적인 비교를 통해 주제와 하위주제를 도출하였다. 결과: 3개의 주 제와 12개의 하위주제가 도출되었다: 첫째 주제인 치료지원의 전달체계에 대해서는 지원센터의 설 치, 전문요원 배치, 지역사회 유관시설 활용, 체계적 관리 및 유관부서와의 협력이 고려되어야 하 며; 둘째 주제인 치료지원의 내용에 대해 전문요원의 자격기준, 전문요원 확보 및 고용안정 대책, 필수치료 서비스 범위, 선별진단검사의 필요성이 고려되어야 하고; 끝으로 셋째 주제인 치료지원의 방법에 대해 교육과정과의 융합, 전문가간 협력, 치료서비스의 범위 그리고 제한적 바우처 제도의 활용이 고려되어야 한다는 하위주제들이 도출되었다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구의 각 치료지원 영역의 전문가들의 의견을 분석하여 학교현장에서 어떻게 바람직한 치료지원이 이루어져야 하는가에 대 한 방안을 제시하였다는 데에 그 의의가 있겠다.

영문 초록

Background & Objectives: Recently, the Special Education for Individuals with Disabilities Act was established as a law. The purpose of this study was to analyze suggestions and requests provided by special education specialists on special education and therapeutic services. Methods: In depth individuals interviews were used for data collection. Five were professors of University and one was chief of day care center for the handicapped children. The questions were developed to guide interviews. All interviews were audio-taped and transcribed. The transcripts were analyzed by the constant comparative method of qualitative analysis. Results: Three themes and four subthemes under each theme were emerged from the analysis: The first theme, “delivery systems of therapeutic services” included subthemes of placement of special education resource center considering access and independency, experts placement according to school types, use of community institutions, and systematic management of ministry of education and collaboration with ministry of health, welfare, gender equality and family. The second theme, “contents of therapy services” included subthemes of establishment of qualified conditions, insurance from experts and employment security, limitation for core services range, necessity for screening test. And finally, the third theme “methods of therapy services” included subthemes of merging therapy services to curriculum, collaborative work between experts, ranges of therapeutic services, and restricted introducing voucher system. Discussion & Conclusion: There are certain implications that this study could provide guidelines upon implementing Special Education for Individuals with Disabilities Act within a school setting.
