영문 초록

  This study was performed to survey for the suitability of the treatment after Permanent tint or Bleaching in Korean hair salons. Usually Permanent tints and bleaching products are Alkali Which can raise the cuticle scales. After the treatments, the hair can damage because of the effect of hydrogen peroxide and Alkali. Anti-oxidants and acid rinses may be used to stop further action of the hydrogen peroxide, to neutralize any alkali on the hair and to smooth the cuticle scales. As the fact, The study of the treatment"s suitability was estimated by checking the PH of the Shampoo or/and hair rinses Which is being used after Tints or Bleaching in hair salons. Used a random sampling, 93 hair salons in Pusan and Taejon were surveyed from 15, July, 1999 to 30, August, 1999.
  The results of the study are as follow:
  1. The type of the shampoo was 22 in 93 hair salon. 43 salons were used the shampoo has PH 6 ~ 6.9 value, 22 salons were used the shampoo has PH 5~5.9 value, 17 salons were used the shampoo has PH 7~7.9 value, 9 salons were used the shampoo has PH 8 ~ 9 value. There was no one using the PH 3-4.9 valued shampoo which can act as the Anti-oxidants.
  2. The type of the rinse was 26 in 93 hair salon. 32 salons were used the rinse has PH 7~7.9 value, 22 salons were used the rinse has PH 6~6.9 value, 17 salons were used the rinse has PH 5~5.9 value, 4 salons were used the rinse has PH 3~3.9 value. There was no one using the PH 4-4.9 valued rinse which can act as the Anti-oxidants.
  As the results, There are still lots of hair salons didn"t use the anti-oxidants and acid rinses after permanent tints and bleaching. The absent of a suitable treatment after permanents tints and bleaching can cause unhealthy and ungraceful looking. I believe that this study is a example how the hairdressing industry is responsive to health and beauty for ourselves.
