영문 초록

  Curled hair easily back to original state even after treatment of strait permanent. Curled hair is thick, rough, and swell giving no neat impression to people. For this reason, people of congenital curved hair want floppy strait hair(lively hair). And it has been popular for the people to keep lively hair as natural from the late 1990s. Curled hair can"t get satisfactory result by general strait perm. For this reason, special strait perm. technique was developed to correct this curled hair almost permanently. This technique is called magic strait perm., which can maintain lively hair permanently if treated once and partial treatment of growing hair. But there is a problem of damaging hair by this method after the treatment. Magic strait perm. technique is a permanent method to correct the curled hair by evacuating the air in the curled hair and let the hair strait by the spreading the protein contained in the curled hair theoretically. The treatment of magic perm. is done by first hair clinic, wash with warm water to dry, and treat the treatment liquid and heat it. You can strait the hair by iron after wash it with warm water. The successful treatment is proved by soft treatment in this process. Though depending on the hair state, healthy hair is treated under the iron temperature of 140～160℃ that might occur serious hair damage. The observed hair condition by the electronic microscope showed far more damage for magic strait perm. than general strait perm. in this experiment. The reason of this serious damage is caused by strong alkali medicine and hot iron heat in case of magic strait perm. comparing to the general strait perm. which comb the hair after treatment of alkali medicine to put it on the panel. So, the degree of damaged hair is increasingly rated by the satisfaction of the treated hair.
  To control the damage of the hair after the magic perm. treatment, you should avoid strong alkali shampoo but use weak acid shampoo and nutrition products. And it is recommended to treat at least 2～3 time/week and to use thick comb. Also, you should not take a home perm., dyeing, decolor, or coating to prevent previous curled hair and to maintain effective maintenance of strait hair long time.
