대학의 대규모 원격수업에서 글쓰기 기반 상호작용 전략의 효과성 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학에서 운영되고 있는 대규모 원격수업에서 교수-학생 간 상호작용 부족의 문제를 해결하고자 글쓰기 기반의 상호작용 전략(학습활동지침서, 예시, 루브릭 기반 피드백 등)을 적용하여 그 효과성을 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 K 대학의 필수 교양 과목인 ‘AI와컴퓨팅사고’를 수강한 2022학년도와 2023학년도 신입생 8,000여 명으로, 인문사회, 자연공학, 예체능 계열로 구분하여 비교 분석하였다. 다변량 분산분석, 감성분석, N-gram 분석을 통해 계열별 만족도, 감성 반응, 수업 인식의 변화를 검토하였다. 본 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연도, 계열, 연도와 계열 간에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 2023학년도에는 인문사회 계열의 만족도가 상승하고 예체능 계열은 완만한 향상, 자연공학 계열은 소폭 하락하여 계열 간 격차가 일부 완화되었다. 둘째, 감성분석 결과, 모든 계열의 긍정 정서가 증가하고 부정 정서는 감소하였다. 셋째, N-gram 분석 결과, 모든 계열에서 2022학년도에 ‘인공지능-수업’ 등 기술·내용 중심 키워드가 주를 이뤘으나, 2023학년도에는 상호작용 관련 키워드가 부각되었다. 인문사회 계열은 ‘교수-친절’, ‘학생-소통’ 등 상호작용 관련 키워드가 두드러졌으며, 자연공학 계열은 기존 기술 중심 키워드와 함께 ‘교수-소통’이 추가적으로 나타났다. 예체능 계열은 ‘수업-재미’, ‘수업-도움’ 등 학습 경험의 효용과 지원을 반영하는 키워드가 강조되었다. 이러한 결과는 계열 내 세부 전공 차이와 학습자의 인지·정서적 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 상호작용 전략과 피드백 제공을 위한 모델 개발의 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the effectiveness of a writing-based interaction strategy—comprising structured learning activity guidelines, exemplar texts, and rubric-based feedback—designed to address the lack of interaction between instructors and students in large-scale online courses. The participants were approximately 8,000 first-year students enrolled in the compulsory liberal arts course AI and Computational Thinking at K University in the academic years 2022 and 2023, classified into Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Engineering, and Arts and Physical Education for comparative analysis. Using MANOVA, sentiment analysis, and N-gram analysis, differences in course satisfaction, emotional responses, and perceptions were examined by discipline and year. Results showed significant effects of year, discipline, and their interaction. In 2023, satisfaction rose in Humanities and Social Sciences, improved moderately in Arts and Physical Education, and slightly declined in Science and Engineering, narrowing interdisciplinary gaps. Sentiment analysis revealed increased positive emotions and decreased negative emotions across all disciplines. N-gram analysis indicated a shift from technology- and content-oriented keywords in 2022 to interaction-oriented terms in 2023, with Humanities and Social Sciences emphasizing 'instructor kindness' and 'student communication', Science and Engineering adding 'instructor communication', and Arts and Physical Education highlighting 'class fun' and 'class help'. These findings underscore the importance of discipline-specific interaction strategies and feedback models that reflect learners' cognitive and emotional characteristics in the design of large-scale online courses.
