대학생 진로 교육에서의 에니어그램 활용에 대한 탐색적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 에니어그램을 활용한 대학생의 진로 교육과 관련된 국내 연구 동향을 종합적으로 분석하여 이를 기반으로 향후 연구 방향성과 진로 교육 프로그램의 실질적 전략을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2000년부터 2024년까지 발표된 관련 문헌을 대상으로 주제 범위 문헌 고찰(scoping review) 방법론을 적용하였다. 최종 선정된 8편의 문헌은 에니어그램을 활용한 대학생 진로 교육의 주요 특성, 적용 사례, 효과성을 중심으로 분석되었다. 문헌 분석 결과, 에니어그램을 활용한 프로그램은 대학생의 진로 정체감, 자기효능감, 진로 성숙도를 향상하는 데 효과적이며, 자기 이해와 진로 방향성 강화에 유 의미한 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 에니어그램과 Holland 직업 흥미 유형의 연관성을 바탕으로 학생들의 직업 선택과 진로 상담에 구체적이고 실질적인 도움을 제공할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 그러나 대부분의 연구가 특정 지역과 제한된 표집에 초점을 맞춘 한계가 있었으며, 장기적 효과와 다양한 환경적 요인을 고려한 후속 연구의 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 연구는 에니어그램을 기반으로 대학생의 자기 이해를 강화하고, 진로 선택 및 개발 과정을 지원하는 데 있어 효과적인 진로 교육 프로그램의 개발과 평가에 중요한 지침을 제공한다. 이러한 연구는 대학생들이 자신의 강점과 잠재력을 발휘하여 성공적인 진로를 설계할 수 있도록 돕는 데 기여할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to synthesize and analyze domestic research trends related to career education for university students utilizing the Enneagram Personality Type Test and explore actionable directions for future research and the development of career education programs. The scoping review methodology was applied to examine relevant literature published from 2000 to 2024. Eight studies were selected and analyzed, focusing on the key characteristics, applications, and effectiveness of career education using the Enneagram Personality Type Test. The analysis revealed that programs employing the Enneagram Personality Type Test effectively bolster career identity, self-efficacy, and career maturity in university students, while also significantly improving self-awareness and career direction. Notably, the connection between the Enneagram and Holland’s vocational interest types demonstrated that this approach provides tangible and actionable support for students’ career choices and counseling. However, the majority of studies were limited by their focus on specific regions and small sample sizes, underscoring the need for future research that considers long-term effects and various environmental factors. This study provides critical insights into the development and evaluation of effective career education programs that leverage the Enneagram Personality Type Test to strengthen self-understanding and support career decision-making and development. Such research contributes to empowering university students to utilize their strengths and potential for successful career planning.
