뉴스 빅데이터에 나타난 지속가능한 생활 담론 분석과 가정교육학적 함의 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 소셜 네트워크 분석(SNA)을 통해 뉴스 기사에서 나타난 지속가능한 생활의 핵심 키워드와 주요 토픽을 분석하고, 이를통해빅데이터토픽에내포된가정교육학적함의와가정과수업에의적용방안을탐색하는데그목적이있다. 이를위해 빅카인즈(BIGKinds)를 활용하여 2020년 1월부터 2024년 6월까지의 지속가능한 생활과 관련된 뉴스를 수집한 후 Textom과 NetMiner를 활용하여 빈도 분석, TF-IDF, N-gram, 중심성 분석, LDA 토픽 모델링을 하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지속가능한 생활과 관련한 담론의 중심이 되는 핵심 키워드는 TF-IDF 분석 결과 ‘에너지’, ‘교육’, ‘플라스틱’, ‘사회’, ‘캠페인’, ‘기업’, ‘실천’ 등으로 나타났다. 중심성 분석 결과, ‘플라스틱’, ‘챌린지’, ‘캠페인’ 등이 현대 사회의 환경 문제와 지속가능성에 대한 주요 관심사를 반영하고 있음을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 지속가능한 사회를 구축하기 위하여 교육적인 측면에서 통합적 접근이 필요함을 파악할 수 있다. 둘째, 지속가능한 생활과 관련한 뉴스 빅데이터 토픽으로는 ‘미래 환경 정책’, ‘환경 캠페인과 챌린지’, ‘기후위기와 생활 변화’, ‘지속가능한 미래 시스템’, ‘소비자의 생활 실천’의 5개 토픽이 도출되었다. 이를 바탕으로 뉴스 빅데이터 픽에 내포된 가정교육학적 함의와 가정과 수업에의 적용 방안을 탐색하였다. 본 연구는 지속가능한 생활과 관련한 뉴스 빅데이터의 핵심 키워드와 각 키워드의 영향력을 분석하고, 2022 개정 가정과 교육과정에서 강조하는 기후위기에 대응한 생태교육, 공동체와 생태환경을 고려한 책임 있는 행동, 생태 지향적 삶의 태도를 함양하기 위한 학습 활동을 모색하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the core keywords and major topics related to ‘sustainable living’ as reflected in news articles through Social Network Analysis(SNA). It explores the educational implications of big data topics and their applications in home economics education and classroom settings. To achieve this, news articles related to ‘sustainable living’ were collected from January 2020 to June 2024 using BIGKinds. Subsequently, frequency analysis, TF-IDF, N-gram analysis, centrality analysis, and LDA topic modeling were conducted using Textom and NetMiner. The results are as follows: First, the core keywords central to the discourse on ‘sustainable living’, as identified through TF-IDF analysis, include ‘energy’, ‘education’, ‘plastic’, ‘society’, ‘campaign’, ‘corporation’, and ‘practice’. Centrality analysis revealed that keywords such as ‘plastic’, ‘challenge’, and ‘campaign’ reflect major societal concerns regarding environmental issues and sustainability. This indicates the necessity for an integrated educational approach to build a sustainable society. Second, five key topics related to ‘sustainable living’ were derived from the news big data: ‘future environmental policies’, ‘environmental campaigns and challenges’, ‘climate crisis and lifestyle changes’, ‘sustainable future systems’, and ‘consumer lifestyle practices’. Based on these findings, the study explores the educational implications embedded in the news big data and potential applications in home economics education and classroom practices. The significance of this research lies in its analysis of the core keywords related to ‘sustainable living’ and their influence, as well as its exploration of learning activities aimed at fostering ecological education, responsible behavior considering community and ecological environments, and an eco-oriented lifestyle, as emphasized in the revised 2022 home economics curriculum.
