생성형 AI를 활용한 가정교과 수업설계 과정에 대한 탐색

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 생성형 AI를 활용하여 가정교과의 수업을 설계하여 가정교과 수업에 생성형 AI가 어떤 잠재적인 이점이 있는지를 살펴보고 교사가 수업을 설계하는 과정의 효율성에 어떤 영향을 미칠 것인지 탐색해 보는 것이다. 이를 위해 우선, 생성형 AI를 활용한 수업 설계와 관련된 문헌을 분석하고 생성형 AI를 활용한 가정교과 식생활, 의생활, 주생활, 소비생활, 의사소통, 성과 이성교제의 6개 주제를 중심으로 수업을 설계하였다. 생성형 AI가 설계한 수업은 예비교사 18인의 추가 질문과 지속적인 탐색과정을 통해 수정되었으며 생성형 AI를 활용한 수업 설계의 잠재적인 적용 가능성 및 한계를 살펴보았다. 생성형 AI로 수업을 설계하는 것은 수업 계획에 필요한 시간을 줄이고 학생 발달 단계에 맞는 교육자료를 구체화할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 그리고 반복적인 프롬프트와 피드백을 통해 생성형 AI를 활용한 수업 설계가 창의적이고 구조화된 수업을 지원하는 것을 확인하였다. 그러나 윤리적 문제, 학습된 수업 설계의 반복, 정보의 정확성 검증 등의 문제가 있었다. 특히, 지속적인 질문을 위해서는 수업 설계자의 전문적인 지식이 반드시 필요하다는 것을 확인했기 때문에 이를 지원할 수 있는 교사양성 교육과정이 모색되어야 한다. 이 연구는 생성형 AI가 수업 설계에서 적절한 보조자 역할을 충분히 수행하는 것을 확인하였다는데 의의를 지닌다. 그러나 궁극적인 교육 목표를 달성하기 위해서는 생성형 AI가 설계한 수업에 대해 비판적으로 평가하고 적용할 수 있는 수업 설계자의 전문적 지식과 수업 설계 역량 강화가 반드시 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to design lessons for home economics education using generative AI, to examine the potential benefits of generative AI, and to explore how it will affect the efficiency of teachers’ lesson design processes. To this end, we first analyzed the literature related to lesson design using generative AI, and designed lessons centered on six topics of home economics education using generative AI: food, clothing, housing, consumer life, communication, and sex and relationships. The lessons designed by generative AI were modified through evaluations and additional questions from 18 prospective teachers, and the potential applicability and limitations of lesson design using generative AI were explored. Designing lessons using generative AI has the advantage of reducing the time required for lesson planning and specifying educational materials that are appropriate for students’ developmental stages. In addition, we confirmed that lesson design using generative AI supports creative and structured lessons through repeated prompts and feedback. However, there were issues such as ethical issues, repetition of lesson design, and verification of information accuracy. In particular, since the professional knowledge of lesson designers is essential for continuous questioning, methods to support this should be sought. Through this study, it was confirmed that generative AI sufficiently plays the role of an appropriate assistant in lesson design, but in order to achieve educational goals, it is essential to strengthen the professional knowledge and lesson design capacity of lesson designers who can critically evaluate and apply lessons designed by generative AI.
