국문 초록

본 연구는 학교폭력 피해 위기 상황에 놓인 청소년을 대상으로, 자극추구 성향이 자아탄력성에 어떤영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 검토하였다. 이 관계에서 사회적 지지가 조절변인으로서 작용하는지를분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구 기간은 2023년 12월부터 2024년 2월까지 G도 P시에 소재한 중학교에재학 중인 청소년 300명을 표집하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 주요 변수로는 첫째, 자극추구 성향과자아탄력성, 그리고 사회적 지지(정서적, 정보적, 물질적, 평가적)를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0과 PROCESS Macro 4.2를 활용하여 분석되었으며, 상관관계 분석과 조절효과 분석을 중심으로주요 변인 간의 관계를 확인하였다. 다음 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 자극추구 성향은 자아탄력성에유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 사회적 지지 역시 자아탄력성에 긍정적인 영향을 주는중요한 요인으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 자극추구 성향과 사회적 지지 간의 상호작용함은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았으며 조절효과의 직접적 근거는 확인되지 않았다. 그러나 조건부 효과 분석에서는 사회적지지의 수준에 따라 자극추구 성향이 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향이 변화하는 경향이 발견되어, 사회적지지가 이 관계에 간접적으로 영향을 미칠 가능성이 있음을 시사하였다. 본 연구는 청소년의 자아탄력성을 향상시키기 위해 개인의 성향 뿐만 아니라 환경적 보호요인으로서의 사회적 지지의 역할을 통합적으로 고려해야 함을 강조한 데에 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the effect of sensation seeking on ego-resilience among adolescents in school violence victimization risk situations and to investigate whether social support functions as a moderating variable in this relationship. A survey was conducted from December 2023 to February 2024, surveying 300 adolescents enrolled in a middle school located in G Province, P City. The main variables measured included sensation-seeking traits, and social support (emotional, informational, instrumental, and appraisal support). Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and PROCESS Macro 4.2 to explore correlations and moderation effects among key variables. The results indicated that sensation seeking had a significant positive effect on ego-resilience, and social support also positively influenced ego-resilience. However, the interaction term between sensation seeking and social support was not statistically significant, providing limited evidence for a direct moderating effect. Nevertheless, conditional effect analysis suggested a trend in which the influence of sensation seeking on ego-resilience varied depending on the level of social support. These findings imply that sensation seeking may serve as a meaningful predictor of ego-resilience during adolescence and that social support could act as a potential buffering factor in this relationship. This study underscores the importance of an integrative approach that considers both individual traits and environmental protective factors in understanding adolescents’ psychosocial adjustment and resilience.
