단위학교 교사학습공동체 활성화가 교사의 학습자 중심 수업 운영에 미치는 영향: 경기도 고등학교를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 단위학교 교사학습공동체 활성화가 교사의 학습자 중심 수업 운영에 미치는 영향 분석을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2022년 경기학교교육실태조사 1주기 2차년도 고등학교 교사 4,228명의 설문조사 데이터를 활용하여 위계적 선형모형 분석을 실시하였으며, 교사의 개인적 특성과 학교 특성 변인을 통제변인으로 투입하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 성별과 최종학력, 담임교사 여부, 교수학습 및 평가 연수 시간, 교사효능감 등 교사 개인 특성은 학습자 중심 수업 운영에 영향을 미쳤다. 반면, 학교 수준의 변인인 혁신학교 여부와 학교장의 변혁적 리더십은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개인 수준과 학교 수준 변인을 통제한 후, 단위학교 교사학습공동체의 활성화가 학습자 중심 수업 운영에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 학습자 중심 수업 운영에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 분석 결과에 기초하여 본 연구는 단위학교 교사학습공동체가 활성화될 수 있는 행정 업무 비중과 시간의 경감, 자율적 교육과정 학습이 가능한 교사 학습 시간과 공간의 보장을 포함한 양질의 인적･물적 자원의 지원, 교사의 철학과 신념 강화를 위한 가이드라인 및 워크북 제공 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the impact of the activation of school-based teacher learning communities on teachers' learner-centered instructional practice. For the purpose of this study, we conducted a hierarchical linear model analysis using survey data from 4,228 high school teachers in the second year of the first cycle of the 2022 Gyeonggi School Education Survey, and teacher personal characteristics and school characteristics were used as control variables. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, the personal characteristics of the teacher, such as gender, highest level of education, homeroom teacher status, number of hours of training in teaching-learning and assessment, and teacher efficacy had an impact on learner-centered instructional practice. On the other hand, the school-level variables, such as innovative school status and transformational leadership of the principal, had no significant effect. Second, after controlling for individual-level and school-level variables, the effect of the activation of the school-based teacher learning communities on learner-centered instruction practice was analyzed. As a result, we found that the activation of the school-based teacher learning communities positively affected learner-centered instruction. Based on the above analysis results, this study suggested the need for quality human and material resources, such as reducing the proportion and time of administrative work and ensuring teacher learning time and space for autonomous curriculum learning to facilitate the school-based school teacher learning communities.
