국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 성인애착과 사회불안의 관계에서 자기자비의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있다. 본 연구는 광주광역시 소재의 대학생을 대상으로 성인애착, 사회불안, 자기자비에 관한 오프라인 설문을 실시하였고, 297명의 자료를 분석하였다. 자기자비의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 R 프로그램의 'psych' 패키지를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 첫째, 성인애착이 사회적 상호작용 불안에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 성인애착이 사회적 상호작용 불안에 미치는 영향에서 자기자비가 부분 매개하였다. 셋째, 성인애착이 수행불안에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 성인애착이 수행불안에 미치는 영향에서 자기자비가 부분 매개하였다. 이런 결과를 중심으로 비교적 수정이 어려운 불안정 성인애착을 자기자비라는 긍정적인 매개변인을 통해 사회불안을 감소시키는 것이 중요함을 시사하였다. 본 연구의 논의와 제한점 및 추후연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of self-compassion in the relationship between adult attachment and social anxiety among college students. This study conducted an offline survey on adult attachment, social anxiety, and self-compassion among university students located in Gwangju Metropolitan City, and a total of 297 responses were analyzed. To verify the mediating effect of self-compassion, the ‘psych’ package in the R Program was used. The main results of this study are as follows : First, adult attachment had a positive effect on social interaction anxiety. Second, self-compassion partially mediated the effect of adult attachment on social interaction anxiety. Third, adult attachment had a positive effect on performance anxiety. Fourth, self-compassion also partially mediated the effect of adult attachment on performance anxiety. Based on these findings, it was suggested that it is important to reduce social anxiety through the positive mediating variable of self-compassion, especially given that insecure adult attachment is relatively difficult to modify. The implications and limitations of this study were discussed, along with suggestions for future research.
