국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 한국과 미국의 중학교 기술과 성취수준을 비교하는 것이다. 이 연구에서 사용한 주요 연구 방법은 문헌 고찰과 분석 도구를 통한 비교 방법을 활용하였다. 분석자는 기술교사 3인이 참여하였고, 분석 값은 기술 통계를 활용하였다. 이 연구를 통해 확인된 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국과 미국의 중학교 기술과 성취기준은 교육내용의핵심 요소를 반영하고 있다. 둘째, 한국과 미국의 기술과 성취기준의 관련성이 확인되었으며, 내용에 따라 그 차이가 존재하였다. 셋째, 한국과 미국의 기술과 성취기준의 난이도 비교 결과 비교적 비슷한 수준으로 나타났으며, 일부 항목에서 수준 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이 연구 결과에 대한 실증적이고 심도 있는 분석과 논의를 통해 교육과정 개발과 정책 연구에 활용되길 희망한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to compare the achievement levels of middle school technology education Korea and the United States. The study applied literature review and comparative analysis using analysis tools. Three technology teachers participated as analysts, and the analysis values were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The main research findings are as follows. First, the achievement standards for middle school technology subjects both in Korea and the United States reflect the core elements of the educational content. Second, while there is a degree of relevance between the two countries' standards, variations were identified depending on the content. Third, the results of the comparison of the difficulty levels of technology and achievement standards in Korea and the United States were found to be relatively similar, although certain standards exhibited notable differences. The study findings are expected to be used for future curriculum development and policy research through empirical and in-depth analysis and discussion.
