국문 초록

본 연구는 이주민 혐오에 대항하는 시민 역량 함양을 위한 디지털 리터러시 기반 역사 수업을 설계하고 실행한결과를 분석했다. 디지털 미디어를 통해 확산하는 혐오표현, 특히 조선족에 대한 부정적 인식과 담론이 심화하는 현실에서, 역사교육이 어떻게 비판적 사고력과 시민적 실천을 촉진할 수 있는지 탐색했다. 고등학교 1학년 한국사 수업에서 3차시에 걸쳐혐오표현의 개념 이해, 조선족 이주에 관한 역사 탐구, 대항표현 제작 활동을 통해 학생들은 역사적 맥락에 기반한 비판적미디어 해석과 시민적 참여를 경험했다. 혐오라는 현대 사회의 문제를 역사적 맥락에서 이해하고 실천적 대응으로 연결하는시도는 교실 현장에서 역사교육의 적용 가능성을 넓히는 계기가 될 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the design and implementation of digital literacy-based history lessons aimed at fostering civic competencies to counter immigrant hate. In response to the growing spread of negative perceptions and discourse about Korean-Chinese (Joseonjok) communities spreading through digital media, the study explored how history education can pro- mote critical thinking and civic engagement. The study implemented a three-session Korean history course with first-year high school students, focusing on understanding hate speech concepts, exploring Korean-Chinese migration history, and creating counter-expressions. Through these activities, students engaged in critical media analysis and civic participation within the context of history. This endeavor to comprehend contemporary issues of hate through a historical lens and to establish connec- tions between them and practical responses, the study demonstrates potential to broaden the scope and applicability of history education in the classroom.
