국문 초록

본 연구는 한국 사회에서 특성화고를 졸업한 다문화청소년과 비다문화청소년의 노동시장이행 결과 요인을 탐색하고, 두 집단 간의 노동시장 이행에 영향을 미치는 기제를 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 「다문화청소년패널조사」8-10차 자료와 「한국교육고용패널」1-3차 자료를 혼합하여 활용하였으며, 경향점수매칭, 2단계 Heckman 모형, 이항 로지스틱 분석, 다중 회귀분석을 적용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 두 집단의 노동시장 이행 결과에 영향을 미치는 요인이 상이하며, 각 집단에 효과적인 진로교육의 유형도 다르게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 본 연구는 다문화청소년의 원활한 노동시장 이행을 돕기 위한 체계적인 진로 및 직업 교육 정책에 대한 제언과 시사점을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

This study comparatively analyzed the factors affecting labor market outcomes for immigrant and non-immigrant youth in South Korea, aiming to understand the mechanisms of labor market performance transition between the two groups. The analysis focused on graduates of vocational high schools. For the analysis, this study utilized a combination of data from the 8th to 10th waves of the "Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study" and the 1st to 3rd waves of the "Korean Education & Employment Panel". The analytical methods employed included propensity score matching, the two-stage Heckman model, and binary logistic and multiple regression analyses. The results revealed that the factors influencing labor market outcomes differed between the two groups. Notably, the types of career education effective in impacting labor market outcomes were found to be different for each group. Based on these findings, this study derived policy recommendations and implications for systematic career and vocational education to support the successful transition of immigrant youth into the labor market.
