국문 초록

현대 댄스 경연 프로그램은 예술성과 엔터테인먼트의 융합을 통해 새로운 문화적 경험을 제공하지만, 공정성과 무용수 안전성에서 여러 한계를 드러내고 있다. 특히 평가 과정에서 대중참여를 제대로 반영하지 못하거나, 과도한 체력 소모로 인해 무용수가 부상 가능성이 제기되는 등 지속 가능한 운영을 저해하는 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 연구는 디자인 과학 연구 접근법을 활용하여 공정성과 안전성을 강화할 수 있는 새로운 평가 시스템을제안한다. 본 시스템은 AI 기반 피로도 모니터링과 YouTube 데이터 통합을 통해 보다 공정하고 객관적인 평가 기준을 제공하고자 한다. AI 기술은 무용수의 체력 소모를 실시간 모니터링하여 안전한 경연 환경을 조성하며, 온라인 데이터를 활용해 대중의 다양한 의견을 효과적으로 반영할 수 있다. 전문가 인터뷰 결과, 피로도 관리와 시청자 의견 반영의 필요성이 확인되었으며, 제안된 시스템이 무용 예술의 대중화와 프로그램의 신뢰성 향상에 기여할 것으로기대된다. 이를 통해 경연 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 불공정성을 줄이고, 무용수와 관객 모두에게 신뢰할 수 있는 평가 체계를 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

Modern dance competition programs have emerged as model examples of blended artistry and entertainment in popular culture. These programs combine traditional dance forms with contemporary performances, offering audiences unique cultural experiences. However, the programs often have significant limitations when it comes to fairness and dancer safety. Specifically, some programs fail to adequately reflect public participation in their evaluation processes or cause injuries owing to excessive physical demands on dancers, thereby undermining sustainable operations. To address these issues, this study employed the design science research (DSR) approach to propose a novel evaluation system aimed at enhancing fairness and safety in dance competition programs. This study focused on re designing leaderboard systems by integrating AI-based fatigue monitoring and YouTube data to establish more equitable and objective evaluation criteria. AI technology enables the real-time monitoring of dancers‘ physical exertion, fostering a safer competitive environment. Furthermore, using online platform data ensures that a wider array of audi ence opinions is effectively incorporated. These measures are expected to mitigate unfair practices during the evaluation process and establish a trustworthy assessment framework for both dancers and viewers. This study makes an academic contribution by establishing the role and value of IT artifacts in dance competition programs through a systematic DSR approach and by proposing a new design theory for leaderboard systems. practically, our study addresses existing limitations by safeguarding dancers‘ physical well-being and safety, while fairly reflecting broader public participation, thereby enhancing the credibility of competition programs. Ultimately, this study contributes to elevating the status of dance as a vital element of popular culture.
