공립유치원 고경력 교사의 생애경험 내러티브에 나타난 배움과 가르침

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 교사의 배움과 가르침을 이해하기 위해 26년 경력의 공립유치원 고경력 교사 1인의 생애경험 내러티브를 수집하였다. 자료의 분석과 해석은 참여자의 생애경험 내러티브 중 교육철학 및 교육실천과 관련한 내러티브를 중심으로 배움과 가르침이 어떠한가를 탐색하였다. 연구를 통해 공립유치원 고경력 교사의 배움과 가르침은 마주침을 통한 이념 만들기 과정, 마주침의 공간 경험과정 및 미래지향적 가치 형성과정으로 나타났다. 이는 유아들이 세상을 살아가면서 마주하게 되는 다양한 경계를 넘어설 수 있는 힘을 기르는 과정으로 볼 수 있다. 이러한 결과는 우리의 의식과 무의식속에 자리 잡고 있는 경계를 지각하고 넘어서기 위해서는 무엇보다 진정한 사유가 우선되어야 함을 시사해준다. 유아의 진정한 사유 만들기를 위해 교사의 배움과 가르침의 근간이 되어야 하는 요소로 유아의 자발성 일으키기, 마주침의 공간 만들기, 사유 만들어내기의 세 관점을 제시하였다. 제시된 관점은 유아교사 교육과 유아교육과정 구성에 있어 근간이 되어야 하는 것에 대한 우리의 이해를 도울 수 있으리라 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to examine the life experience narratives of highly experienced public kindergarten teachers with 26 years of experience to understand the learning and teaching of the early childhood teacher. After her narratives were gathered, the narratives related to educational philosophy and the practice of education were primarily analyzed and interpreted in the process of data analysis and interpretation to explore what her learning and teaching would be like. The findings of the study are as follows: The learning and teaching of the highly experienced public kindergarten teacher have been categorized into three: the process of formulating an ideology through encounters, the process of experiencing the spaces for encounters and the process of creating a future-oriented value. It could be said that these are the process to teach young children to build up their strength to cross various borders with which they are confronted in the world. The findings of the study suggest that genuine thinking is more important than anything else to perceive and cross borders that are in consciousness and unconsciousness. Three perspectives are presented as the basic elements of the learning and teaching of teachers to stir up the genuine thinking of preschoolers: arousing the spontaneity of young children, preparing spaces for encounters, and stirring up thinking. The perspectives presented in this study are expected to improve the understanding of what should be the basis of early childhood teacher education and of early childhood curriculums.
