국문 초록

이 연구는 초등교사의 학교폭력 사안처리 경험과 그 의미를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 학교폭력 사안처리 경험이 있는 초등교사 3명을 대상으로 내러티브 탐구방법을 통해 알아보았다. 연구자는 세 교사와 학교폭력 사안처리 과정을 지속적으로 공유하고 끊임없이 상호작용하는 관계맺음 속에서 서로의 경험을 탐구하였다. 세 교사에게 학교폭력 사안처리 과정은 어느 누구의 진심도 알아차릴 수 없을 만큼 힘든 경험이었다. 교사에게 수많은 상처를 주었으며, 시간이 지나도 쉽게 사라지지 않았다. 또한 교사에게 고민과 갈등을 일으키게 하는 두려운 일이었다. 이로 인해 세 교사는 시간, 에너지, 신뢰감, 자신감, 정체성 등의 상실을 경험하였다. 이 상실 경험은 세 교사에게 자신의 삶을 돌아보게 하였고, 교사로서 자기 존재에 대한 의미를 성찰하게 하였다. 학교폭력 사안처리 과정에서 세 교사가 경험한 상처와 상실의 의미를 바탕으로, 교사의 삶과 존재에 대한 의미 있는 논의가 이루어지기를 기대한다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the experiences and the meaning of elementary school teachers' handling of school violence cases. For this purpose, three elementary school teachers who have experienced cases of school violence were examined through narrative inquiry method. The researchers continued to share the process of handling school violence with the three teachers and explored each other's experiences in a constantly interacting relationship. It was a difficult experience for three teachers to deal with school violence issues. The experience hurt teachers a lot and did not disappear easily over time. It was also a terrible thing that caused teachers to worry and conflict. As a result, three teachers experienced loss of time, energy, trust, confidence, and identity. This experience of loss led three teachers to look back into their lives and reflect on their meaning as a teacher. It is expected that meaningful discussions will be made about the life and existence of teachers based on the meaning of the injuries and losses experienced by the three teachers in the process of school violence.
