국문 초록

본 연구는 사회정서역량 강화 프로그램이 초등 고학년 부적응학생의 우울과 사회정서역량에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 B시의 A초등학교 고학년 부적응학생 20명을 대상으로 프로그램 참여집단과 대기통제 집단에 10명씩 무선배치 후 1회기 40분간, 주 4회기씩 총 12회기로 구성된 사회정서역량 강화 프로그램을 시행하였다. 프로그램 효과를 검증하기 위해 프로그램 참여 집단과 대기통제 집단에 사전, 사후, 추후시점에 따라 우울, 사회정서역량 척도자료를 수집하여 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구의 자료 분석 결과 우울과 사회정서역량 모두에서 사회정서역량 강화 프로그램을 시행한 프로그램 참여집단이 대기통제 집단보다 사전 점수에 비해 사후, 추후 점수에서 유의미한 효과가 확인되었다. 따라서 본 연구의 사회정서역량 강화 프로그램이 학교 현장에서 초등 고학년 부적응학생들을 위한 표적적 예방프로그램으로 지속적으로 활용됨으로써 이들의 우울 수준 을 낮추고 사회정서역량을 강화하여 심리적 건강증진에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다. 끝으로 연구결과를 토대로 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a social-emotional competency enhancement program on depression and social-emotional competency of maladjusted students in the upper grades of elementary school. For this purpose, 20 maladjusted students in the upper grades of A Elementary School in City B were randomly assigned to an experimental group and a waiting-control group, with 10 students each, A total of 12 sessions of the program was implemented 40 minutes, and depression and social-emotional competency scale data were collected and comparative analysis at pre-, post-, post-time points. As a result, it was confirmed that the experimental group had a significant effect compared to the waiting-control group in depression and social-emotional competence. It is expected that the program will be used as a targeted prevention program for maladjusted students in upper grades of elementary schools. Suggestions and implications for follow-up studies were discussed.
