영문 초록

Tea culture is one of the representative cultures of China. Chinese tea culture had spread to all classes through the Tang and Song-era. In the case of the Ming-era, tea in China revolutionized the way of making and drinking, completely establishing itself as a daily drink for everyone. In this paper, focusing on the 30 ‘Tea songs(茶歌)' contained in the folk songs collection 《Guazhi-er(掛枝兒)》, 《Shange(山歌)》, and 《Huangying-er(黃鶯兒)》edited by Feng Menlong(馮夢龍), a literary person of the Ming-era, the background of its formation and the aspects and characteristics of tea that became more deeply involved in the lives of the people at that time are studied. Through these works, it can be confirmed that the tea of the Ming dynasty has completely settled in the lives of the people as ‘meal[飯]', and its use as a ‘symbol of affection' and ‘sales tool of the Qinglou(青樓)' stands out. Lastly, in this paper, the characteristics of tea songs included in Feng Monglong's collection of folk songs were studied.
