영문 초록

Chinese polysemy adverb 'dou' and Korean polysemy adverb 'ta' have both objective and subjective usages. There is a virtual chain that exists between meanings (or usages) of different positions at the synchronic level. The difference can be understood as the degree of grammaticalization, which also reflects the order of grammaticalization. However, the previous comparative studies on Chinese and Korean polysemy adverbs 'dou' and 'ta' mainly focused on the quantificational meanings. Contrastive studies on subjective usage from the perspective of subjectivization or grammaticalization are relatively rare. Based on previous studies, this paper intends to re-examine the basic semantic functions of Chinese polysemy adverbs 'dou' and Korean polysemy adverbs 'ta' , focusing on combing and generally classifying the meanings and usages of the two adverbs at the synchronic level. Thus, the degree of grammaticalization of each meaning and usage, namely the order of semantic association, can be illustrated, and the similarities and differences of its subjectivalization mechanism can be found.
