국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 노년교사가 진행하는 음악수업의 의미를 밝혀내는 것이다. 이를 위하여 노년교사의 음악수업과 음악체험을 구분하고 분류 파악하여 의미 분석을 하였다. 연구 방법은 인간의 체험 형식을 들여다보고 사실적 구조와 본질직관을 통하여 의미의 통찰에 이르는 현상학적 연구방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 노년교사는 학생-교사라는 위계를 넘어 동등한 관계 형성을 통해 인간적 관계를 맺는 방식으로 학생 개인의 음악적 개성을 파악해낸다. 학생 각자의 개성은 노년교사가 감상활동의 악곡을 선정하는 데 영향을 미친다. 노년교사는 감상활동에서 학생들의 개성이 음악적 행위로 발현되는 출발점으로 삼는다. 노년교사가 음악수업에 있어 학생과 관계를 중요시 하는 데에는 교사 자신의 음악적 체험이 중요한 동기로 작용하였다. 노년교사는 학생에게 학생인 음악을 좋은 경험으로 기억하게 하여 ‘음악 향유’를 체득하게 함으로써 음악을 곁에 두고 느끼게 하는 ‘음악 애호가’가 되도록 안내하고 있었다. 노년교사의 삶과 교직 전체에서 발견된 ‘흥미-음악’, ‘행위-실천’, ‘음악-향유’, ‘음악-애호’의 가치는 일상의 한계를 해방하는 실존적 삶으로 의미화된다.

영문 초록

The study is to find out the meaning of music classes conducted by an elderly teacher about to retire. For this purpose, the meaning of music classes and music experiences of elderly teachers were classified and analyzed. The research method used a phenomenological study suitable for looking into the form of human experience and reaching insight into meaning through factual structure and essential intuition. As a result, elderly teacher figure out each student s individual musical individuality by forming human relationships through equal relationships beyond the student-teacher hierarchy. A student s personality affects the elderly teacher s selection of music for listening activities. Elderly teacher take listening activities as the starting point for students individuality to be expressed through musical actions. Musical experience interacted as an important motive for the elderly teacher to place importance on the relationship with the students in the music class. The elderly teacher was guiding students to become music jouissance make their music a good experience and feel music aficionados by making them remember music as a student as a good experience. The values of interest-music , act-practice , music-Jouissance , and music-love found in the lives and teaching professions of elderly teachers are signified as existential life that liberates the limits of daily life.
